Great restaurant Could call it a chipper but it's more than that. Great selection of food on offer, all a relatively reasonable price. I always go for a Hawaiian pizza or else the chicken breast and chips. Their chips are amazing!

21/06/2026: Nice food. Summer pudding for dessert— rare in England. Pleasant, very quiet (on a Sunday), staff helpful and jolly if not of the fastest! If it's a hotel, I saw no evidence of that.
01/06/2026: Always a pleasure to stay here! Rooms are a tad dated but homely, cosy, and comfortable. The food is the standout here, from breakfast, to bar, to restaurant. Everything is thoughtfully considered and assembled, fish being the winner in the bar and restaurant!

09/07/2026: Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and locals are great craic. Good quality draught beers with a huge beer garden
