Probably up there with one of the best lunch spots in the country honestly. Just simple delicious dishes done really really well, Great service always and the coffee is lovely as well 🫡

If you're wary of the line of people waiting to enter the café, consider it a compliment to your choice. Indeed, in its own way, this is the best establishment in Navan; I couldn't say that for all of Ireland. From the delicate (and I mean that!) dishes to the warm, welcoming hostess. The brunch here is incredible! Plus, the coffee is truly genuine and original. It's definitely the best in Navan. And I haven't encountered anything even close to this in Dublin. And trust my guide to Greece: we categorically refuse to interact with the outside world without coffee. Therefore, we know a thing or two about this invigorating drink.
Let's get back to the food: poached eggs, also known as Benedict (not Cumberbatch), are available in a variety of variations, even with mushrooms. I chose the salmon version and it seems I made the right choice. But when her daughter's order arrived, it was clear he'd won this culinary race. The Olympionik combined tender, simmering meat, infused with the aroma of spices and the music of exotic lands. Tears of envy flowed, and mouths watered with the urge to "let me try it." Once again, I was convinced how Irish cuisine, despite its dramatic proximity, contrasts with English cuisine.
I recommend it to everyone, and see you again!

Got a recommendation on this little gem from a friend. As I was in the area, I called in for some lunch and takeaway treats. Bustling brunch spot with a very welcoming feel. Luckily they had space for me, and I sat to take a look at the menu. There were a few curveballs along with the laissez faire Irish menu items. Went with the duck and some homemade hash browns. Incredible. Bhí sé go hiontach. Came out on a plate that screamed effort and tasted every bit the same. Enjoyed every morsel along with a very nice 'Gerardo' coffee. Took away some of the homemade pastries to treat the work colleagues which were also delectable. Spectacularly good. Maith sibh. 👏🏻

I was recently in Navan and on the advice of a business owner there I went to Room 8 for lunch. They have a varied menu with some unusual dishes. I chose the Bang Bang chicken which I can honestly say was the best version I ever had. I then had Sticky Toffee pudding and again it was absolutely delicious and exactly as a good stp should be but seldom is in most places. Coffee was excellent too. If I lived locally I would definitely be a regular customer but I'll go there again if I'm in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Absolutely outstanding service and food as usual. Easily my number one choice for food when in Navan.
Had the short rib potato starter with beef and chilli, so tasty, followed by the Thai curry.
Friend had the zesty tiger prawns which were cooked perfectly and a nice big size.
Highly recommend Room 8.
Can't wait to return.

We went there for a family lunch and it was the most pleasant experience I have ever been to. The owner and family members were superb hosts and the food was the most delicious and unique tastes ever. Sensibly priced with foods to suit all tastes.
I don’t often be on trip advisor but simply had to on this occasion
I am a complete passing stranger
