Room 8 in Navan (an uaimh)

I cannot recommend this place highly enough, particularly if you have food allergies. They go above and beyond to change items on the menu so that you get the whole experience. For example, I ordered steak last time but asked them to leave the pepper sauce because I can't have dairy, and it came out with a non-dairy pepper sauce! Wonderful friendly staff, great surroundings, gorgeous menu. It's our go-to!

2 cappuccino, 2 irish breakfast, one hot chocolate, and porridge. The porridge was not bad with fruits and honey, irish breakfast usual 😋, but coffee I didn't like, I understand business it's business but they need to pay attention on quality and not cheap coffee supplier

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch here today! The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The chicken burger was delicious and my husband had the Bang bang chicken and he really enjoyed it too! Definitely going back soon. Thanks Geraldine!

An absolutely outstanding experience at Room 8 tonight! From the moment we walked in, Geraldine and her incredible team made us feel so welcome. The service was flawless—warm, attentive and genuinely friendly. The food was exceptional, every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. The wine selection was spot on and the atmosphere was just perfect for a relaxed and memorable evening. Huge compliments to everyone who made it such a fantastic night. We will definitely be back—highly recommend!”

Huge credit to Aiden, Geraldine and the team at Room 8. The food, service and ambience are consistently excellent. The food is wholesome with impressive flair and flavour. A real gem that we always enjoy.

My Girlfriend and I went to Room 8 based off what we heard from everyone who’s ever been. I got the steak (which was cooked medium rare to perfection), and she got the seabass (unbelievable). I can’t recommend this place enough, the food is top tier and the service is next to none! If you’re looking some of the best food and service in Ireland, THIS IS THE PLACE!

We went on valentine's day. Had the beef teriyaki flatbread and the Chicken rice curry. Rounded up with the raspberry cheesecake. The flatbread was delicious in a way I as a former chef was surprised. Something so simple but though so well executed. The base was the flatbread topped with some tomato chutney the beef was breaded I assume deep fried. Pickled onions and coleslaw. Writing this makes my mouth water. Absurdly delicious. I am not a big fan of curry but my GF cleaned out the plate best she ever had. Moving on to the cheesecake. I assume a triangle shaped piece of cheese cake topped with white chocolate and raspberry sauce. But hands down this was the best cheesecake I've ever had. The crumble base topped with creamy cheesecake mix on top had a layer of raspberry cream and presentation wise everything was on top. Service was super nice. Definitely coming back for more. Thanks for a great evening.

You may have to wait for a table but it's worth it. Great food with celiac options.

Great food and service! I visited with one of my friends on a Sunday evening in December. We were lucky to get a table, as we have been recommended to try this restaurant in Navan. The food was really good. I find the menu was quite innovative and fun, I had really high expectations to it - and I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were really friendly and attentive, and there was a really warm and cosy atmosphere. I would really recommend you to go!
