It's a really nice place, lovely atmosphere, great view of the sea, the food is class, better than most fancy restaurants, it's a proper family place, you can go with your eyes closed, guaranteed to have a good time! Cheers to Pedro, the chef, and the owners too, such nice people!

After a long hike in the pooring rain my girlfriend and I searched a place to dry. They were closed but the owner was very friendly and let us in :-) He even served us a cup of hot tea and a pint of Guinness. 👍

The only good thing about the restaurant is the view of the sea. Other than that, the quality of food is quite poor. I would expect a restaurant on the coast not to have such bland fish. The food was also overpriced for what it was, in my opinion - although it wasn't awful. I will say that the staff were pleasant and quite patient. I would recommend not going unless you can guarantee getting a window table. The restaurant section was also not very busy when I went, which is always a bad sign.

Con is such a gentleman! Couldn’t have helped us more! He is what real Irish hospitality is about! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Must visit!

Very disappointed with the experience. It took way too long to place our order — the staff didn’t seem interested at all. The food took forever to arrive, and they clearly forgot about it at some point. It was noisy, the portions were small, the prices high, and the food quality was just average. On top of that, there was someone playing a horribly out-of-tune piano, which made everything even worse :(

The Glenbeigh Hotel

09/03/2026: Lovely hotel. Only 11 rooms, 3 reached thru rear stairs, the rest you can get to they front stairs. Had 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. All were delicious, piping hot and very well presented. Also had 2 desserts, also very well presented and delicious. Photos below. Every member of staff were very friendly and helpful, special mention to Johnathan and Karena. Also shout out to Michael,a local, who plays the piano, needs a tuning, and sometimes sings. All in all, a very enjoyable weekend and will definitely visit again.
04/03/2026: Stopped for lunch and it was amazing. The service from a young lady working was spot on.

07/03/2026: We stopped for a coffee and sweet treat during our Ring of Kerry travels. The coffee was tasty and hot whilst the cakes were delicious and extremely fresh! Emilie provided friendly and timely service. Fantastic spot!
24/02/2026: nice coffee chop with nice homemade pastry, the staffs is very friendly.
