Rouge in Galway

Went here for dinner and it was fabulous. The food was great, I had an amuse bouche which was something but it tasted great. Then I had fillet steak with chips and apple juice and luckily for dessert they had vanilla ice cream with cream. The staff were lovely, the service was quick. It's easy to find. The menu is very limited with just fish of the day and steak so if your not a fish lover or a steak lover this place probably isn't for you. I would go again.

Beef was great. The blue cheese sauce was very good. Staff is kind, friendly and smiling. Atmosphere is amazing.

The manager and waiter were very interested in making sure your experience was amazing. The food is among the best we have had after 30 days traveling all over Ireland. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic place with professional staff. The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is great and the staff is helpful, not pushing, very polite, helpful and know everything about the food they service.

This restaurant is well worth a visit if you're traveling in Galway. The gratin dauphinois potatoes are a revelation and every bite was pure pleasure. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was special. We felt like we were tucked away from the world with the soft candlelight, the old tables and masonry walls.

Service with a smile and staff knowledgeable about the selection of wines. Menu simple but food is good. The pianist is a lovely touch and adds to the vibe. Every table seemed happy to be there and staff looked like they enjoyed working there which is always a good sign. My only regret is not trying desert.... next time!

Wonderful evening. Short menu of really good ingredients treated with French flair. Great service from an experienced and professional team. Short but well formed French wine list. We felt very well fed and looked after

Limited menu and food is hit and miss. Some things are really good and some things are just OK. Prices seem high for what you get. Overall it was a nice experience but nothing I'd ever do again.
