Rouge in Galway

This was one of our favorite restaurants in Galway and it was just luck that we encountered it. It was late and we needed to eat dinner. Thank goodness this place was open and provided such a delicious meal! The atmosphere was lovely. Live piano playing. Dessert was incredible. They even let us take a baguette as we were leaving for free.

Best steak in town, juicy, rear, tasty. And the staff are French and Italian and so nice, serving you with free starters and condiments you didn't even order! Along with our steaks and bottle of excellent red wine, we got French bread and condiments, as well as portions of tasty French fries, all inclusive!

Had a very wonderful experience here. The staff were so friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and they even had someone on the piano creating a cosy atmosphere with wonderful music. Though my steak was much undercooked inside, it and the pepper sauce were very tasty and the fries were generous!

We visited your restaurant on Sunday evening. We were a bit wary of the small menu. But then we were very pleased. Small does not mean bad. On the contrary, the dishes are well prepared and balanced. The quiet cozy atmosphere is very suitable for a family dinner. Pleasant background music. But the waiters bring a special charm. Good work and attentiveness. But besides that, they are very creative. They also dance and sing. Simply delightful. Thank you for the evening and a special compliment. We hope to be able to come in the future.

Really nice menu with steaks, French bistro vibes and great value!

The manager and waiter were very interested in making sure your experience was amazing. The food is among the best we have had after 30 days traveling all over Ireland. My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Went here for dinner and it was fabulous. The food was great, I had an amuse bouche which was something but it tasted great. Then I had fillet steak with chips and apple juice and luckily for dessert they had vanilla ice cream with cream. The staff were lovely, the service was quick. It's easy to find. The menu is very limited with just fish of the day and steak so if your not a fish lover or a steak lover this place probably isn't for you. I would go again.

Wonderful evening. Short menu of really good ingredients treated with French flair. Great service from an experienced and professional team. Short but well formed French wine list. We felt very well fed and looked after
