Celebrated an 80th birthday in the upstairs bar. A great night was had by all The food, service and decor was excellent. The staff just could not do enough for us.

Visited route 14 Saturday 17th may, lovely welcome once we stepped inside, had booked table for 5 which was ready and definitely recommend on booking beforehand, given plenty of time to look over two menus, which covered everything. Each of us ordered different foods and all came out together, manageress kept checking on us and couldn't do enough. Food was amazing, staff so friendly and polite and the atmosphere was buzzing. Definitely will be back.

6 of us landed in just after 7 for food with no bookings. Starters were so lovely , nachos, prawns, chicken wings and soup! Mains were nice too. Staff were so lovely and very pleasant. Service was fast too.

The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega

27/12/2025: Great pub kind staff amazing stew but there was no live music at 2 on weekends as advertised. I just want to hear some traditional Irish music while I have a pint
12/12/2025: I have just had a fantastic experience here for lunch with my Mother. We arrived without a booking, and, were welcomed and accommodated straight away, with a genuine warm greeting. A great selection of food, from starters, to mains, to nibbles. The drinks menu is fairly extensive also!! I went for the chicken Cesar salad, and, a Murphy's....... Both were nothing shy of perfection! 👌 My Mother had the goats cheese salad with walnuts and pear...... It looked great!!...... I can't comment on how nice it was, but, I can tell you this, she didn't want to share!! ☺️ Vitoria, our server, was just n point, and efficient across the board! A great smile, and approach. Thanks to the team, and, Vitoria. Well done guys!! I definitely will be back, and, I definitely would recommend!! Great value, and quality all round.
