Great Chinese food at reasonable prices.

Easily my favourite Chinese restaurant and somewhere I’ve come back to again and again. The food is consistently brilliant, the setting is beautiful, and there are a few dishes here that I genuinely look forward to every time I visit. The shredded duck pancakes are an absolute must. The duck is delicious and they’re easily one of my favourite things on the menu. The satay skewers are another favourite — packed with flavour and something I pretty much have to order every time. One thing I really appreciate is that if you like your food spicy, you can ask for freshly cut chilli with the sauces. It makes such a difference and is something I’d definitely recommend if, like me, you love a proper bit of heat. The location also makes the whole experience even better. The restaurant has a gorgeous view overlooking the lough, so if you can get a table by the window, it really adds to the meal. They also used to have an incredible chocolate fudge cake that was genuinely one of my favourite desserts anywhere. Unfortunately, it disappeared from the menu, a decision I’m still struggling to forgive them for. Please bring it back. Amazing food, a beautiful view and a restaurant I’ll continue coming back to. Get the shredded duck pancakes, order the satay skewers, ask for some fresh chilli, and hopefully one day the legendary chocolate fudge cake will make its return.

Favourite chinese in cork. Such nice staff and the food is delicious every time.

I went to Royal Palace last Thursday, Got a Chicken Curry and Fried Rice. The food was absolutely beautiful, the curry was to die for. The service was wonderful and the experience was memorable. I will be a weekly customer here at Royal palace from now on.

It's well run, consistent and always good.it won't blow u away but it hits the mark. Highly recommended
