Royal Valentia in Knightstown

Gorgeous hotel, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and really helpful when we had to change our dinner reservations. The food was absolutely delicious, big portions and reasonably priced and they even put the left over pizza into a pizza box for us to bring back with us!

Had our child's christening here recently. From the set up to the food, the service to the atmosphere, it was faultless. Some kind words from the new owners was the icing on the cake of a beautiful day. Wish Bobby and Nancy the best of luck with the future. Great to see the historic hotel is in safe hands.

Stayed here in October 2025. Really enjoyed the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. However, the room was very dated with stained carpet and mold in shower stall. Location and view were nice. The building has a lot of character, but given the condition of the room, I would not stay her again.

A truly beautiful room with stairs leading upstairs. Everything was clean and new. In the evening we ate in the pub, which was also delicious... absolutely wonderful.

Right at the seafront beautiful views of the sea from the front of the hotel . Staff can’t do enough for you . Food is great the wines are fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel when visiting Valencia Island .

A wonderful two night stay over the new years. The staff work so hard to provide breakfast, lunches and dinners and everything else in between. The building is full of character and located in front of the sea. You couldn’t ask for better. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!

I would highly recommend a visit, the food staff and location just fab. We stayed in winter time but still got very well looked after. A must vist if in the area.

An excellent hotel with a remarkable history, an excellent bar restaurant, the hotel is 200 years old and there are even ghosts.
