Beautiful, historical hotel, a gem

We had a delicious lunch here in August. The setting was beautiful sitting outside at the front garden of the hotel. Scampi was perfect, melt-in-the-mouth. Home made chips were delicious, toastie and fries were good. Would definitely return.

We only ate in the restaurant. So I can't say anything about the rooms. The food was very tasty and the portion size was reasonable. We had fish and chips and a margarita pizza for the child. Everything homemade and freshly made. Very tasty too.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 And if it works, we will spend the night there soon. 😉 Then I can say something about it. 😉🤗

We were pleasantly surprised by the high standard of scampi and chips serves here. Huge fresh prawns in fresh batter and excellent chunky chips. Friendly service, though the dark brown Victorian decor could do with a bit of brightening up. We noticed on our way in that there was still litter on the outside tables. It makes for a poor first impression. Overall highly recommended - an unexpected treat.

Great location, lovely historical building, unfortunately as a guest the hotel fell short of my expectations.

BBQ pulled pork pizza was good, the beer was refreshing. Solid.

This Hotel is excellent value for money and a great place to stay when traveling around Ireland on holiday .will defiantly stay again in future (staff very helpful)
