We had a delicious lunch here in August. The setting was beautiful sitting outside at the front garden of the hotel. Scampi was perfect, melt-in-the-mouth. Home made chips were delicious, toastie and fries were good. Would definitely return.
We only ate in the restaurant. So I can't say anything about the rooms.
The food was very tasty and the portion size was reasonable.
We had fish and chips and a margarita pizza for the child.
Everything homemade and freshly made. Very tasty too.πππππ
And if it works, we will spend the night there soon. π Then I can say something about it. ππ€
The hotel is at the end of the island and the road is a bit narrow for those of us who don't know how to drive on the left. The hotel very well. The kitchen closes early at night and you have nothing to eat in the area. Very good staff attention.
This beautifully renovated Hotel commands magnificent views out across the harbour to the mainland. Set in the picturesque village of Knights Town it is the ideal location to mingle with locals and tourists alike, soaking up the sea air and great Irish hospitality. On this occasion I had a pulled pork ciabatta, in a delicious barbecue sauce, served with home made slaw and crisps. To finish I had a home made scone, Jam & cream which was a delight. The young staff were incredibly friendly and helpful making for a great lunchtime experience. Already planning my next visit.
