Roy's Restaurant in Ballinrobe

13/08/2025: We found this restaurant near our accommodation in Cong. We arrived half an hour before the kitchen closed. For those who have never been to Ireland, the kitchen often closes quite early, around 8:30 or 9:00 PM, so you have to decide where to dine well in advance. Aside from that, we entered this quaint, elegant, and refined restaurant. We ordered five courses: 2 appetizers 3 main courses (as in the photos). The quality and attention to detail in the dishes were truly exceptional. My compliments to the chef. The waiters immediately showed a concern for all the guests present! An important detail was one of the waiters who asked us if we wanted coffee before he turned off the machine. The atmosphere was very peaceful! Recommended!

10/07/2025: Had the best meal of my travels in Flannerys on Sunday. It was very busy but a lovely girl called Katie found us a table! 10/10 would recommend the chowder and the sticky toffee. Will be back soon
