The Killeen House Hotel is probably one of the Nicest places that I have ever stayed at. Everything lodging staff food was excellent couldn’t ask for more!!! We stayed for 3 nights in late October 2024 Wonderful

My wife and I had a magical weekend in Killeen house Hotel recently. We booked a two night stay and dined in their magnificent restaurant “ Rozzers” on both evenings. The hotel is located in an area of extraordinary natural beauty nestled high on the hills that look down onto the lakes of Killarney. On arrival our welcome was warm and genuine. Our room was beautifully appointed. Later we wandered towards the bar where we met more wonderful staff who were friendly and efficient . Afterwards, we were seated in a beautiful dining room fun of character and history. The quality of the food was exceptional. I had monkfish which was delicate and delicious and my wife had the steak which she said was cooked to perfection. Their selection of wines was also impressive as was the gentle jazz playing in the background. The service throughout the evening was delightful. Following a peaceful nights sleep we had one of the finest breakfast we have had in years. Freshly made breads to start and eggs Benedict to follow. We were seated in a bay window with a beautiful view out onto the gardens. This was one of the most reluctant departures we ever had from a hotel. We had a blissful two days and nights in a beautiful historic country house Hotel staffed with exceptional people and offering delicious local produce. We look forward to our next stay with you.

Staff are very welcoming, friendly, helpful, cheerful! The man who checked us in on Nov 9th was awesome! Our servers at the hotel bar Chris and Xhersi were exceptional! Made us laugh the whole time! We love them! The room was very clean and cute!

I cannot 5 star this hotel enough. From the charm, to the hospitality, to the overall helpfulness of the staff here, everyone and everything was 🤩. Thank you Kris for helping my mom & I make such lovely & lasting memories of Ireland.

Great service, great rooms and great hotel. We went during the week, two nights and with our dog. They had an excellent detail with her leaving a blanket, sweets and a welcome toy. The room was great, large and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was very good, varied, with part buffet and part a la carte, and if you order the €15 blanket, it is all included. Also, everyone in the service, attentive, friendly and charismatic. Free parking at the hotel door. The center of town is also a five-minute drive away and the national park is eight minutes away. Excellent point to start the Ring of Kerry route. Lastly, I think it's a great detail that they have a European plug in the bathroom in case you don't have adapters.

Fantastic Quaint hotel and bar & restaurant outside of Killarney. The staff are amazing and make you feel like home. If you're looking for something slightly outside of the city, stay here

An absolute delight. A Google search for food brought us here for a late lunch served in the bar. There was no one else there eating at the time and we were treated as if we were the most special guests they ever had. Lovely decor. Delicious food (chicken wings Irish style for me). And a most gracious host. Next visit we will arrange to stay here as well since it truly had us captivated.

Wunderbar!. Everything was superb, food, ambience, & service. The staff went out of their way to make us feel special. Truly recommend.

Cute as the pictures. Parking is tight. That's literally the only down side. The staff was genuinely friendly. The room was spacious. Bed was great, wifi was quick enough to watch videos. Only 10 minuted away from town. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Rozzers Restaurant offers a fantastic setting, a warm welcome, and the very best of Irish cuisine with a twist. Egli was exceptional—passionate and genuinely dedicated to ensuring you have a memorable dining experience. The wines by the glass were very reasonably priced, adding to the overall value. All the team here are 5 star. The crab starter was intense and delicious, bursting with fresh flavors. The chicken was sublime, paired with a beautiful sweet sauce of pearl onions and cream. The bone marrow mash was rich and indulgent, perfectly complementing the dish. To finish, the crème brûlée infused with pear was an excellent choice—delicate and flavorful. Overall, a wonderful experience that’s well worth the trip from Killarney.
