Lovely hotel with excellent service, breakfast and staff. Rooms are clean, tidy and quiet. Bathroom had no signs of black mold as in other hotels we stayed in. The whole hotel has been decorated with good taste and finish.

Beautiful little hotel and the staff are amazing and so helpful, its not a big hotel therfore its not super busy or noisy, our room even had a jacuzzi tub as well as the shower (212). Breakfast was fantastic and a great breakfast menu so definitely book your breakfast with your stay. Killarney town is just a 5 min drive away. It cost me 14 euro down to the town with lots of bars and restaurants for you to choose from, unfortunately didnt eat dinner in our hotel but will next time as even some locals I spoke to told me the food here is amazing. A visit to Killeen is always a good idea . I have been visiting here the last couple of years and if possible it just gets better and better. I stayed here last weekend and what a gorgeous treat it was before the madness of Christmas commences. As always we received the warmest of welcomes at reception from the lovely Ola , we checked into our massive room which was absolutely spotless, nothing was out of place , the style is old world and the bed was the cosiest I’ve stayed in any hotel . We decided to have a pre dinner drink and the wonderful Xhersi took care of our drinks , I can highly recommend his cocktails and always served with a smile . We proceeded to the restaurant which is superbly ran by Egli , our waitress Michaela was a delight and nothing was too much trouble for her .The food here really is on another level to anywhere else around , you can tell the chefs love what they do and from the presentation to the flavors this restaurant really is fine dining. Little touches like gorgeous warm breads with tapenade , an amuse bouche of the evening really makes it special . The muted lighting , flickering candles and lovely music all add to the wonderful atmosphere. We had the mushroom and mussels to start and both were full of flavor and excellently executed. My partner had steak for his mains and I went for the chicken supreme , my partner said it was the tastiest most tender steak he has ever had. Even though after the starter I was not as hungry I polished off my mains with gusto , it was absolutely delicious, all mains served with a serving of veg and potatoes of the evening. For desert I always have room for chocolate and the fondant is so decadent yet delicate , a true pleasure for all chocolate lovers , my partner had eton mess and there was nothing left of his either. All of this was accompanied with a delicious red wine recommended by Egli. We had originally planned to go into town but such was the experience at dinner we decided to have a night cap in bar and retire to our room and enjoy our surroundings . On our second night we opted to eat at the bar to which there is a good variety to chose from , we had chicken wings and a burger and I honestly can’t stop thinking about the burger , so juicy and delicious , a massive portion. Breakfast at the hotel both mornings was amazing , great hot selection and a lovely buffet also. Again the waiting staff were all fantastic , warm and friendly. We were almost depressed checking out but our batteries were truly recharged and I’ve even started hinting at a night or 2 over the Christmas break. Well done to all involved in Killeen and absolute gem of a place with 5 star staff . Thanks and see you all soon .

My wife and I recently stayed at this lovely quintessential Irish country house hotel. This is not my first time to Kerry but it was our first visit to Killeen House, it won't be our last. The hotel was extremely clean, the room we stayed in was updated and very well appointed. The entire experience was exactly what we had hoped for, kudos to the amazing staff and management that made us feel truly welcome and cared for. We are very much looking forward to staying here again.

Lovely place with thoughtful touches. We brought our dog along, got his own dog bowl, treats and a blanket! The restaurant was great with very friendly service from Orla and Egli as well as delicious food! Located 5km outside of Killarney which was ideal

This is an absolute gem of a hotel. We were doing a road trip through Ireland and had to stop for a night due to change of plans. Killeen house was just few minutes out of Killarney and could adjust us while most hotels were sold out due to bank holiday. Picturesque and quiet location with great rustic charm. Rooms were very clean, tastefully updated and decent sized. Absolutely the BEST staff and service that can compete squarely with any world class hotel. Breakfast was cooked on order and truly delightful. There is nothing we could wish better for. If only we could stay longer….highly recommended if you are in the area.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Just outside of Killarney, getting both downtown and into the surrounding nature is an absolute breeze if you've rented a car. The room we stayed in was adorable with a super comfortable bed. Their new addition (rooms 401+) has AC, which is a nice bonus, and a great view of the mountains. Breakfast requires a reservation, and is actually incredibly good. Best hotel breakfast we had the entire trip, and their berry tea was fantastic. Cannot recommend highly enough.

This hotel and restaurant are top notch in every way. The staff made this hotel my all time favorite! The 2 brothers Jersey and Eggie made us feel very comfortable and welcome! They were very hospitable and kind and thoughtful! The rooms were immaculate and charming! The food was scrumptious! I highly recommend staying at this amazing hotel! It is truly one of Ireland’s Best hotels!

I ate at this restaurant with my family of 20 people and everything was exceptional. Our servers Eyli, Armne and Olho were at the top of their game- friendly, warm, and they provided impeccable service. The food was melt in your mouth delicious. This was our best meal and experience in Ireland. 10 out of 10!
