RUGANTINO in Sligo

I'm visiting from out of town and I'm so glad we found Rugantino! Every dish we ordered was amazing, but the seafood was the real highlight. It tasted incredibly fresh and every flavor was exactly on point. I was also really impressed that we didn't have to wait at all despite it being a weekend. The location is super convenient, and the staff were so nice and friendly that it made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the city!

I love going Rugantino Sligo I love Italia food I liked going the Lasagne al Forno the main Lasagne dish and Penne Pasta and go for the Penne Primavera and I Love pizza's too and I would sometimes for Margherita and Americana BBQ base Pizza I'll enjoy 2 main pasta dishes too there Pizzzas Lovely too I'll back here for sure as Food is lovely I fully recommend Rugantino Sligo to everyone

A very well run establishment. As soon as you walk through the door you are hit with the aromas of authentic Italian cuisine. My wife had the Tuscan ribollita soup & for the mains she had the chicken Caesar. I had the Goats cheese pizza which was absolutely divine. The staff are pleasant and very attentive to taking your order & ensuring you are looked after. The owner & chef Antonio is a true gentleman & a master of Italian cuisine. I’d highly recommend this restaurant as it is top notch with fine Italian dining. We will certainly return.

The only genuine pizza in Sligo…

Tasted great, but I was very happy I wasn't too hungry when my meal arrived as it was pretty small and ordering a second plate would have brought the pp to >€40

Very average meal and fact we asked would they add that 12,5 euro per person charge was just weird for table of two eating only one main each . Pasta was bland so was the fish , lack of proper spices , I was really surprised that reviews were so high . We both said it was poor . And two mains with water cost 60 euro expensive for what it was.

The food arrived very quickly and was nice and warm, not too hot, and it wasn't expensive either.

10/10! I'm literally writing this while still sat at my table at the restaurant because the pizza is SO GOOD. I'd recommend getting the big one as there's very little difference in the price and you will definitely want to eat more once it arrives. Super fresh ingredients, made to order, perfect pizza base that holds its crispiness, generous with the toppings... Perfect. Will be back next time visiting Sligo.
