By far the best bakery in the area! Staff is delightful, the pastries are top notch (coming from a french connaisseur) and the drinks are made with great care โœจ๏ธ They even melt real chocolate to make their hot chocolate!

Bread and pastries are excellent, as good as you'll get in Dublin. Popular spot, seems to be a queue every morning - moves quickly though. Only minor niggle is that the bread comes wrapped in plastic. Paper would be better - environmentally and no condensation from freshly baked bread.

20/03/2026: Secure entrance. Warm, friendly welcome. The bar/restaurant is very pleasant. The waiters, waitresses, and bartenders are efficient, friendly, and always checking that everything is alright! A lively but very English atmosphere.
19/03/2026: Great stay at the Mercantile, we visited for St. Patrick's and the hotel has a great location, even though is right in Dame which is quite busy the room is very well sound isolated, so no noise. Excellent attention from Gina at front desk and Marco on the restaurant.

10/03/2026: Loved this place and it was delicious! My friend and I went here and they had a very nice selection, and stayed super kind and calm when it was extremely busy! The actual restaurant is very small but manages to seat many people. Very clean and nice atmosphere!๐Ÿฃ
10/03/2026: The sushi was good especially when compared to the price. However, the space is very crowded, tables are very close by each other, and it can get extremely noisy. Some of the staff look like they are trying their best and keep a good attitude, but not all. I would say it is an alright place to grab some quick japanese food, but I would not nessessarily return.
