Called first to see if i needed a reservation and was told i could come without. Started off with the bruschetta. Very classic and on point. The Lasagna was amazing. When i used the bathroom on my way back to the table i even told the chef it was so good. Love the open kitchen look. Adam was my server and even though he was new he told me, he did a great job. The wine i had was good. I asked Adam to ask the chef what the best dessert was between the Tiramisu or the Penna Cotta. Needless to say the Tiramisu did not disappoint.
LOVE IT I come here every single time on my birthday I’m addicted to this restaurant I loveeeeeeee the calamari it’s to good and the peperoni pizza so good and the galato I just melt it and then drink it
Very disappointing.
I attended a work event here a while back and really enjoyed the food so was really looking forward to returning but myself and my husband went for dinner over the weekend and were seated at the worse table for 2 right outside a toilet in an area where there was really not enough room for a table.
Thankfully we were only there for less than a hour before a show. Constant stream of people passing behind both of us as we were seated right on a corner. Majority of people by had no option but to squeeze by and hit off our chairs.
We both ordered pizza’s which were just ‘ok’ but very overpriced for what we got. We have had much nicer pizza’s elsewhere at much more reasonable prices.
Service and staff were excellent but it seems the restaurant is trying to fit too many people into the space and it’s not working. Other tables were very close together too.
I don’t normally write reviews but sadly was very disappointed with our visit and it was my first time ‘ever’ not to leave a tip which did not sit well with me.
Our party had Pasta All-Anatra (duck), Paperdelle Rustico (sausage), and Fettuccine Al Gamberetti (tiger prawn).
All the dishes were a good portion size and generous amounts of key ingredients (duck, sausage, prawn). The first two dishes were considered a little soft in terms of pasta texture, whereas the Fettuccine was definitely al dente.
Overall the experience was very good, with welcoming and attentive service throughout the meal. Definitely recommend
We visited Rustic on a busy Monday evening without a reservation, and were shown to a table straight away. We had our orders taken and food brought down very quickly. The garlic bread and pizza were delicious, and the portion sizes were good. The drinks menu was extensive, and the alcohol free strawberry daiquiri was delicious! The desserts we ordered (banoffee pie and chocolate fondant) were also very nice. We would definitely return here if in the area again!
