Ryan's Daughter in Thurles

Excellent quality home-made honest food.

I had a really lovely meal in Ryan's Daughter restaurant yesterday. The quality of the food, the presentation, attention to detail, the pleasant attentive staff and Gary, the owner were all excellent. I dine here often and I am always impressed with the food on offer!

First time I was in for Breakfast but it won't be the last. There is a couple of places in town that do good breakfasts but I have to say the breakfast here tops them. Value for money, taste and service this place has a homely feel to it and you won't leave feeling hungry.

Absolutely beautiful dinner….Fishermans Pie!!! To die for!! Service was amazing, staff were lovely! Thanks to Orla, James, Josie and Gary for the hospitality. Will be back again asap!

This B/B is top Class, We stayed there last weekend , On Arrival James meet us and gave us a top class service, Food was excellent, and James moved his car for us to park our Bikes safe over the road from the B/B. He was the chef there also , and did he put up some breakfast, And what we liked was the personal touch James gave us when we arrived , tea and biscuits. That never happed us anywhere in Ireland before. B/B is only a few yards away from the main Street. Excellent stop over , Highly recommend, and will be back. Thanks James

We arrived here for breakfast after taking a recommendation from someone on the street when I looked for somewhere good to eat for breakfast. It was very good, with very friendly staff and a lovely, very unique little cafe. Highly recommend.

Went in with my wife to have dinner it was perfect.

Where to start. Absolute perfection from start to finish. James and his staff looked after my father and brother when visiting Thurles and to say the staff went above and beyond would be an understatement. The food was incredible. The rooms were perfect. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Thank you all for looking after them so well.

Good, I had bacon & cabbage, hubby had roast chicken . I just had 2 small slices of bacon which I thought was a bit miserable . It was nearly 2 o clock so I suppose items were getting g sparse. I asked for white sauce on side but inedible , light & lumpy. Veg & potatoes were fine and hubby said his was good. For the reviews I thought it woukd be better. I did mention to young girl re white sauce but she just smiled. I would try again another time later in the year maybe
