Lovely spot to stop in malahide for lunch or coffee and a treat. Beautiful display of dessert. Tasty lunch options or brunch if you’re a tan earlier. Friendly staff. Coffee is good even the decaf always served with a refreshing shot of sparkling water and a traditional coffee biscuit. Seating outside of the weather permits. Definitely a thumbs up and a place to try.

Lovely spot for a delicious breakfast. On our way out, I clumsily spilled my cappuccino. They graciously gave me another. Very kind and attentive staff.

OK, I wasn’t very happy waiting 25 minutes for my hreakfast and then finding out the waitress hadn’t even put in my order. However a waiter (also a manager/owner?) appeared, was extremely apologetic and told me I’d receive a 35% discount. So I’m giving five stars to this establishment for that prime example of appropriate customer service as well as the quality of my breakfast which really was outstanding.

Cute. The warm kitchen made a good impression when you looked at it. We "only" had the homemade cake and were very satisfied. Particularly friendly service.

We had the breakfast, which is a mini Irish breakfast. Very tasty paired with a cappuccino and mocha. No rush to leave. Cute space with about 8 tables for 2.

Deja Vu

28/09/2024: We were looking for a place for a weekend breakfast catch-up close to the airport as one of us was flying in especially. Deja Vu was a very good choice. It was surprisingly easy to find a car park on a Saturday morning, and we had time for a stroll by the sea before breakfast. The table we had booked was all set up and waiting for us. The space is appealing, light and bright yet with character, and great for conversation. The service was excellent, and everything came out in good time. The coffee scored well with me too. The brunch menu offers all the usual cafe favourites, and the six of us ordered five different dishes. The portion sizes are small, the only thing any of our party thought could have been improved on. Malahide is an appealing place with quality independent shops just around the corner, the park and the sea nearby and everything well kept and clean. We definitely picked the right place.
