This looks like a bit of a hidden gem. Tucked away upstairs, away from the hustle and bustle of Malahide. The food was delicious, and the service was very friendly. Would definitely go again! We also really liked that they didn’t skimp on the proteins in the pasta.

The Greenery

19/06/2025: 6 of us went for brunch. This is a popular restaurant and we waited only 10 minutes for a table. They would not let us book a table. I am gluten free and I found the staff very helpful in giving me options with gluten free bread/toast. For me I found it expensive but I don't live in Malahide. An excellent experience.

Kajjal

01/06/2025: Tasty Halal South Asian Lunch Spot – Family-Friendly with Great Service Review: We visited Kajjal restaurant for a family lunch, including children, and were pleased with the overall experience. It’s a great option for halal food lovers, especially if you’re craving authentic South Asian flavours in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. Service & Ambience: The staff were attentive and warm, creating a relaxed and hospitable environment. The restaurant is clean, well-lit, and suitable for both families and casual dining with friends. Food Experience: The menu featured a good variety of halal South Asian dishes, and the flavours delivered on authenticity. However, we found the non-vegetarian options a bit limited, which may not suit those looking for a broader meat selection. Room for Improvement: The absence of dessert options like cheesecake or kid-friendly sweets was a letdown for the younger ones, and something that could enhance the overall dining experience. Verdict: A reliable choice for halal South Asian cuisine with great service and a comfortable vibe. Ideal for families, though expanding the dessert menu and non-veg variety would be a welcome touch.
27/05/2025: First timer. Food was delicious, so was the wine. I didn't feel rushed as I've been told by some. Portions are filling. We'll be back 💕
