The chicken and the burger was so nice but the fries were the worst,so big, cold and so dry and tasteless. Maybe if they can try and make the fries small or medium and cook them well

Salt N Pepper in Salthill is a solid choice for a quick, no-fuss meal. I tried the Fish Box Meal for €13.50 and overall had a good experience. The fish was definitely the highlight: fresh, perfectly crispy and tasted excellent. A tartare sauce was served which went well with the fish. The fries, on the other hand, were pretty average – not bad, but nothing special either. I would give them 3 out of 5 stars, while the fish deserves a solid 5 stars. The restaurant was clean and it was nice to have ketchup, salt and lemon juice at every table. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more pleasant. In my opinion, the price of €13.50 is a bit on the upper limit, but still acceptable for the quality of the fish. Salt N Pepper is a good place to go, especially if you're craving fresh and crispy fish. With slightly better fries the meal would have been perfect.

08/05/2025: Had an all Irish breakfast here this morning , The service was quick and the overall experience wasn't bad. The All Irish didn't blow my mind away but was decent apart from the egg. Easily the worst egg I've ever had otherwise a lovely place
29/03/2025: It was truly an exemplary experience. The service wasn't as bad as other reviews say, it was direct and polite. The dishes and chocolate marshmallows were delicious. There are bathrooms on the third floor. I would definitely come back for a coffee, a piece of cake, or breakfast.

10/07/2024: We visited from UK and was really shocking to see this was the only LGBTQ+ bar in Galway. Bar was very small and atmosphere was definitely off! However host and bar persons were brilliant! Music was available on request which is always fun and plenty to choose from on the cocktail menu
28/06/2024: Small place but that also can also make it homey if you know the crowd.
