Sangria Tapas Restaurant in Galway

The best tapas I have ever had, the service was fantastic the sangria was what you would expect from a restaurant named sangria, fantastic. The chicken tacos is the tastiest dish I’ve eaten in quite a while. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and hopefully I will be back. Thank you.

An incredible restaurant to visit while in Galway. From the Sangria, to the meat & seafood tapas, you could never go wrong. The staff are extremely professional and friendly which too made our experience better. Would highly recommend to anybody visiting or for locals in the city and woukd definitely come back again! Sangria is worth every penny, the atmosphere, quality, staff and bathrooms were exquisite Lots of candles and feminine hygiene products in the bathrooms, so nice The actual best place for South American food in the West of Ireland They go above and beyond

It's the place with the vibe. The restaurant is neither small nor very big—somewhere in the middle. When it's fully packed, it can get slightly noisy, but that's not a complaint. Quite the opposite, in fact. The blend of Latin American music, great interior design, and lively buzz comes together perfectly, especially after ordering a Mojito (or whichever drink you prefer) while waiting for your food. The dishes and tapas are absolutely delicious 🤤. If you or your group enjoy sharing and trying different foods, this is heaven. We ordered two meat tapas and three seafood tapas. The meat dishes were fantastic, but the seafood tapas were on an entirely different level. It was probably the first time I had seafood, like octopus 🐙, paired with spices—and the combination worked so well.

Recommended! The service is very good, the place serves tapas, so keep in mind that the portions are small. But the mussel dish surprised us because it was larger than everything else, as well as being very rich and spicy in the red sauce. Ask for it if you are Mexican haha

The food was very tasty, amazing flavours and combinations, nice plating. My husband didnt really enjoy the gambas though, the rest was really impressive. The service was terrible to be honest. We were served by an American girl she was very kind and cute, but not too much confidence when it comes to answering questions about the menu (working in hospitality ourselves it was crystal clear she had no idea about the menu). She definietly needs more training, but she is very sweet. :) We did ask to take the 10%tip off because we didnt feel we should pay since we werent satisfied with the service.

El hecho de que estuvo ocupado en un frío y húmedo lunes por la noche en enero es testimonio del atractivo de este lugar. Disfrutamos del ambiente y la camarera era muy servicial y nos dejó probar vino antes de pedir. Todos nuestros platos eran buenos y había una buena gama de opciones vegetarianas. Estaría encantado de visitar de nuevo si terminamos en Galway.

Fantástica comida de nuevo! Tenía 3 platos, que es más que suficiente para 1. Tan sabroso, lleno de sabores. Mi favorito; los tostones de ternera con espuma de queso azul, el cordero picado en hongos, el cerdo picado en berenjena, el humus de berenjena con pan de ajo. También todas las monteditas. Tanto vegetariana como con carne... Me encanta este lugar. Fabulosa comida, buen servicio y un ambiente increíble. ¡Y date un capricho con la mousse de chocolate y café de postre!
