Lovely quiet bar in the heart of Drogheda. We were there on a Thursday evening and there was a few guys having a great singsong in the corner.

The pub is just passing Laurance's gate and it doesn't seem to be as huge as it is from outside. Once you enter you have the main bar, then the lounge and after an even bigger beer pub with an extra outside sitting area. I'd recommend to put speakers on the beer garden to improve the atmosphere a little bit. The staff is gentle and they help you if you hold lot of beers! Important to mentions is about the Mexican food truck that is there serving food from 8pm.

07/10/2024: Great simple breakfast place on the way from Dublin to Giant Causeway.
14/09/2024: The breakfast was perfect, just the fry up we needed after returning from Germany late last night. The staff were attentive, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere in the restaurant was buzzing, a mix between disco (because of the good music they had on) and fun fair (because of the buzz of people talking) We'll be back!

02/11/2024: Il Forno is a gorgeous Italian restaurant in the heart of Drogheda on West St. We drove up to Drogheda to see the Festival of Lú light installations (these are amazing and well worth heading to Drogheda to see during late October - early November weekends) Finished up with the lights at 21:15 and we chose Il Forno to grab a bite to eat. Even though it was late we got service with a 😊 from the wonderful staff. The pizzas are wood-fired and delicious, the wine gorgeous, the atmosphere warm and inviting on a cold dry winter night. ❤️❤️❤️
