Amazing. Stumbled across this spot while looking for a light bite today. Sat in the window and people watched while enjoying the most fabulous cheese and meat platter with beautiful wine. A must try if in Westport.

If you decided to visit Westport you should have dinner or cup of coffee in Savoir Fare. This place unique with French notes and at the time local Irish food. Owners used just Irish ingredients (local farmers from all over Ireland) and here you could drink French and Spanish wine. After first step inside caffe you will understand specific atmosphere bistro. Irish sticks, special dinner menu, deserts and pastries, of cause. Everywhere clean, toilet is working with no problems. Here you can relax, drink wine and eat tasty food. My recommendation is Galway snails and soup of the day. Enjoy ☺️

If you want a taste of French style, with Irish-origin charcuterie, cheese, and more; then this place is a must-visit in Westport. Great wine, great food, great atmosphere, friendly people. It's obvious that they care deeply about what they do, and do it well.

I visited Westport in October and was glad that a spot at the counter here was open when I stopped for lunch. It's a tiny venue but so charming and has great food/wine. I had the lobster bisque, perfect on an overcast day. The wine offerings by the glass were good as well. The desserts looked yummy yet I didn't partake. I love restaurants with counters, perfect for us solo travelers and I had a lovely conversation with a local. What more could you ask for!?

Best food and service in Westport by a mile (and that's a high bar!) Cheese & Meat sharer plate, followed by baked local salmon, with a well recommended Spanish wine. €80 for three hungry revellers is good value.
