Lovely Bacon, cabbage and mash potatoes for the traditional stalwarts amongst us:).... Some parsley sauce WOULD have been super 👌

I have always enjoyed the roast beef dinner at scholars! But yesterday 9/11/25 the dinner wasn't good a cheaper cut of beef , burnt Yorkshire puddings maybe this is down to a change of chef ! Very disappointed I'm a returning customer for many years but time to try somewhere else for carvery

Not impressed with food .. ordered famous burger well done .. got it all red inside had to adk twice to cook it bit more..

Super helpful staff and nice food. Clean and a good size for functions.

They make the nicest bread and butter dessert. Definitely would go back. Generous soup and bread portions too. Lovely coffee.

Excellent food and service great prices

I only had a celeriac soup with their fabulous homemade treacle bread and they were both excellent. I will be back to try other items on their menu!

Nice food with a diverse menu, I had bao buns which I loved, great spot for lunch 🍱

Perfect And cozy Pub, The Food just Perfect, Hard the bester Burger ever. Can recommend it
