Breakfast was top class eggs cooked to perfection. 6 of us all ebjoyed the meal. Fast friendly service 💯 recommend scholars for lovely grub

You Can see a lot of pressure on the staff from management . Benjamin on the floor seems to be doing everything , have to praise him . Very Friendly Guy and very quick with what he does so well done to him .

I brought my cousin Graeme out for his first drink since 2007. We were cycling up to the Dublin mountains when suddenly Graeme took a tumble off his bike and broke his nose. Lucky enough we were only a 15 second walk from this establishment where we were pleasantly accommodated by multiple bar staff. The bar manager immediately threw a straight whiskey over to myself to cure the shock of seeing my cousins face oozing blood. Graeme ordered himself two pints of smithwicks . One to wash the face and the other to cure the thirst he’s had for the last 18 years. Grinning Graeme we used to call him back in 2007 and boy was that grin well and truly back . A fantastic gem of a place set on the foot of the Dublin mountains where one can enjoy a quiet few pints or cure the pain of a broken nose. Thanks again Scholars !!

Absolutely great spot gor family gathering we use a lot staff are great really helpful and friendly food is amazing and atmosphere brilliant highly recommend

Was there last night with a group of friends food was excellent and staff was very friendly and helpful word of thanks to Natasha for all her help with our booking, will be back very soon

I have always enjoyed the roast beef dinner at scholars! But yesterday 9/11/25 the dinner wasn't good a cheaper cut of beef , burnt Yorkshire puddings maybe this is down to a change of chef ! Very disappointed I'm a returning customer for many years but time to try somewhere else for carvery

Not impressed with food .. ordered famous burger well done .. got it all red inside had to adk twice to cook it bit more..
