Chef Anoop is the best korma, it was very good and loved it I will recommend everyone to try at least one time

Update June 2025. Chef Anoop made the best lamb korma ever! Very friendly atmosphere, with delicious real indian food. We went for dinner with people from India, and they rated restaurant as one of the best Indian cuisine in Ireland. The food was very tasty, fresh, big portions. Service was very good, friendly, nice, helpful. Comfortable chairs and cosy atmosphere. Around 7 pm on Friday evening was packed, book in advance. Definitely going back.

Friendly welcoming staff, helpful food recommendations. For a starter we got a mixed plater , nice but, v.small quantity for the price point. Two of our main orders were chicken & Lamb jalfrezi ...unfortunately the tomato sauce tasted like it was processed , rather than made from fresh tomatoes , seemed to have a flour texture throughout . The mains didn't include Rice ! It came at an extra cost ..which was very surprising considering the price of the mains ! Seemed to be a big push on the dessert 's ! ..was asked 3 times , after saying ..' no thanks " the first time. Overall we were quiet disappointed , particularly after reading their good reviews, before booking .

I recently had dinner at Sealord Indian Restaurant in Wexford Town, and it was a fantastic experience overall. Food: The food was the star of the evening. I ordered the Chicken biriyani (and it was bursting with flavour—rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. And superb tastey. Service: The staff were warm, welcoming, and very attentive throughout the meal. Our server checked in just the right amount, and the food arrived quickly. You can tell the team takes pride in their hospitality. Atmosphere: The restaurant has a cosy and inviting feel, with soft lighting and tasteful decor. It’s not a large space, so it fills up quickly—I'd recommend booking in advance, especially on weekends. Value: Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion size. One thing to note: rice is not included with the main dishes and must be ordered separately, which might catch some people off guard. However, it’s a small detail in an otherwise great value meal. Bonus points for allowing BYO wine (with a modest corkage fee). Final Thoughts: Sealord is easily one of the best spots in Wexford for Indian food. Whether you’re a spice lover or prefer milder flavours, there’s something here for everyone. Highly recommended for a cozy date night or dinner with friends.
