Seaview Tavern in

Really a beautiful place with a remarkable view

we loved this restaurant, outstanding food at great prices. we stayed in the malin head area for 5 days and visited the restaurant every day it was that good. fish landed 100m away ensures the freshest possible fish, and homemade chips to die for.

Friendly staff and very welcoming for families with small children. It's great to see the kids menu is mostly all homemade, and the portions were very generous. The handcut chunky chips and homemade chicken goujons were a huge hit. The seafood chowder is top-notch, highly recommended. The only flaw is that there's no changing table available.

We provide 4x4 tours and use the sea view tavern to camp and eat at. The food and craic is always great. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Frozen Chips were horrible, crisp on the outside nothing inside.

My second visit to sea view tavern , first time food was awesome their fish &chips were perfect, lovely chunk of battered cod , and chunky homemade chips. Was so good I had to go back, alas this time it was somewhat of a let down, fish wasn’t as plentiful, and chips have lost there homemade appeal, all in all it was enjoyable, and the staff are very pleasant, especially barmaid Michaela.

Spent a night in the campervan on the meadow. Had dinner at the restaurant. It was excellent and the people very friendly. Be sure to stop by if you're there.
