Good food and reasonable prices. Scenic location. Friendly staff. Just a couple of things let it down - (a) having to ask three different waiting staff in the space of three minutes to give us a little more time to consider the menu and (b) the huge portion sizes, leading inevitably to waste and/or indigestion! We'll be back, but probably just for a main course or a couple of starters.

Went in for late lunch and had the best cod I've ever had . My wife ordered the stuffed crab and said the same . The views were great , food was phenomenal, and the server was awesome. Go check this place out , you will be glad you did

Yes, your choices are limited in this area after 5pm, but that shouldn’t change it. Food was really good. Staff were very nice. Convenient store attached for those side needs. Crab toes were very big.

07/04/2025: Enjoyed a fabulous Sunday lunch here at the weekend for our family celebrating our Dad's birthday. We had about 6 adults and 8 kids and the service was excellent along with the quality of food. Great menu and the kids dishes were some of the best we've seen. The dessert trolley was a great highlight for both adults and children alike and the staff couldn't be more accommodating for our large group. We couldn't recommend the cottage restaurant enough for family gatherings, food and customer service. All agreed we will definitley be back for Sunday lunch. Thanks again :)
09/03/2025: I have eaten here a few times a year for the last 10 years but never left a review. It it my favourite place in the world to eat. We feel so lucky to have this beautiful restaurant so close to us. The flavour of the food is amazing and continues to improve. We are so thankful for the skill of the chefs and that we get to enjoy it on a regular basis

17/04/2025: We went to eat at Hamilton's Pub by chance, and we were not disappointed! Very friendly welcome, and very good meal!
16/04/2025: Food was absolutely delicious - worth a quick pop in! The Caesar Salad was very flavorful with generous portions of chicken. The Baked Goat Cheese Filo was over the top wonderful - order two! Cheers!
