Always a super meal and pint here - crab toes are a must!

We stayed two nights at Seaview Tavern during our Malin Head trip, and it was just perfect! The room was clean, cozy, and had a lovely sea view. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious, and the bar downstairs had a great local vibe, we really enjoyed our pints there each evening. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and Mike, the owner, is simply amazing - always around for a chat and full of great local tips. A true Donegal gem with genuine Irish hospitality. Highly recommended whether you are visiting Malin Head or exploring the Wild Atlantic Way. We will definitely be back!

Great craic with the locals here

The seaview tavern is an absolutely wonderful spot for a relaxed evening out. It's truly a gem! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. We stopped in for a pint and dinner, and everything surpassed our expectations. The food was not only fresh and beautifully presented but also incredibly tasty, featuring some excellent local ingredients. And of course, the panoramic views of the wild Atlantic Ocean are simply breathtaking—a perfect backdrop to an enjoyable meal. Beyond the great food and location, the staff deserve special mention; they were very attentive, polite, and genuinely seemed to care about our experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, friendly service, and an unforgettable view.

Just returned home after a 2 night stay at Seaview Tavern. I wanted to share my experience which like many others was fabulous. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortably, homely and warm rooms. Delicious, generously portioned food. To top it all fabulous scenery.

This place is absolutely stunning, all the atmosphere and localisation makes you want to stay there forever. Very nice and cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and breakfast what should be presented as an example of perfection. Restaurant also very recommended- I’ve got hake with lime risotto- and was beautiful. Apart of all of that - what makes this place incredible is their staff. I’m travelling a lot and in Seaview Tavern I met most friendly and care staff ever. They are treasure.

Friendly staff and very welcoming for families with small children. It's great to see the kids menu is mostly all homemade, and the portions were very generous. The handcut chunky chips and homemade chicken goujons were a huge hit. The seafood chowder is top-notch, highly recommended. The only flaw is that there's no changing table available.

My second visit to sea view tavern , first time food was awesome their fish &chips were perfect, lovely chunk of battered cod , and chunky homemade chips. Was so good I had to go back, alas this time it was somewhat of a let down, fish wasn’t as plentiful, and chips have lost there homemade appeal, all in all it was enjoyable, and the staff are very pleasant, especially barmaid Michaela.
