Nice spot in rathmines for some lunch. Staff are inattentive, but they are very young and could do with someone more mature supervising. Food is good quality. It had a makeover recently but I personally preferred it as it was. Very good value for money.

Shaku Maku is a hidden gem in Dublin, serving up incredible Middle Eastern flavors in a warm and inviting space. The food is packed with authentic taste—think juicy Chicken Taouk and tender Lamb Meshwi. The staff are friendly and welcoming. It can get busy at times, but the atmosphere and food make it well worth it. If you’re a fan of Middle Eastern cuisine (or just great food in general), this place is a must-visit!

11/04/2025: Came here for lunch. The octopus and beans was delicious and charred perfectly. The Piri Piri chicken also grilled to perfection, and sauce is quite spicy. The leaves side is a wholesome combination of lettuces (I just wished the cut the leaves down a little more).
05/04/2025: My hubbie and I had dinner last night at Mister S, with long standing couple friends. The food was so good, incredible value. Service was friendly and prompt. We had a bottle of Sauv. blanc for €41, fresh, perfectly balanced, zesty. I had chicken piri piri, and the others the steak. Sides of carrots, potatoes and salad. Everything was excellent.

30/03/2025: Nos encanta todo sobre este restaurante, la comida es increíble. El menú degustación con maridajes de vinos y maridajes sin alcohol era tan delicioso, interesante y considerado. Una gran experiencia gastronómica y esta fue nuestra tercera visita!
08/03/2025: We were lucky enough to eat in Liath yesterday evening and it was a truly spectacular experience, extraordinary food and a truly incredible atmosphere. Each dish, which all look like art work, were served by the same incredibly talented chefs who created them in the kitchen that you can see from your table. We’re were lucky enough to be served in a number of occasions by Damien, which was very special. Ailish, the restaurant manager, is wonderfully helpful, and has a great warmth and balance between friendly and professional. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough.
