This was probably the most I have ever paid for fish and chips and it wasn't worth it. We were the only ones there early doors on a Monday night waiting to catch a ferry. I had hoped to go back to Tuskars but it was unexpectedly shut so I had few options. Firstly the tables weren't cleaned properly so we chose to eat in the car. The fish batter was not light and crispy. The chips were a bit chewy and didn't feel fresh. Overall I was disappointed and felt it was poor value for money.

We’ve been here before and the chips are always nice. This time we had sausage and chips; a portion is sausage is just one sausage. The chips were nice as was the sausage but it had an odd texture to it and I would have liked more chips. Overall the food was hot, freshly cooked and tasty.
