Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe

I just got dinner & drinks here, and it was so so nice! The guys at the bar were so friendly and helpful. I got the chicken supreme, and the sauce they put on it was Devine. 👏🏻

Was there for a wedding overnight stay this place is amazing food atmosphere staff all are amazing

I was a guest with a tour group. Rooms all clean and technically ok. The bar at the restaurant is also very attractive with plenty of choice. Breakfast was also good for me (Irish breakfast). Gladly again

We stayed with half board. The dinner offer is poor poor. There is no bread or cake in the morning. However, it is in a good location, everything can be reached with a short walk.

I had the pleasure of organising a celebration in The Shearwater hotel recently. The function was for over 450 people and we only had 3 weeks notice. From day one on approaching the Events Manager Estella we knew everything would be okay as she was so professional and helpful to us, giving us advice and direction on room layout, menus etc. No matter what we asked for, she obliged. On the day if the event we were greeted by the manager and shown the wonderful room layout, with top table beautifully decorated as were all tables with candelabras and cherry blossom. They had also hung our banner as a backdrop We also had menus and reserved tables as requested. The Hotel put up the most wonderful meal to all persons attending, covering everyone's dietary needs. The staff were very warm and helpful and the service was super efficient with such a large numbers. Everyone who attended from near and far were full of praise for the Hotel and thought we are so lucky to have such facilities near by. I would highly recommend the Shearwater for any function you may be planning.

Absolutely loved the hotel it had a variety of food available for both dinner and breakfast! Unfortunately didn’t get to experience the gym and pool! The receptionist was absolutely lovely and allowed us to check out a bit later to spend more time with my uncle from Peamount Hospital! Would definitely recommend this place.

This is truly a hidden gem .From the entrance just perfect and reception area . Bedroom was perfect for the kids and us different rooms wow .breakfast was just perfect and the kids love the pancakes .dinner was perfect in every way .The Picnic was so good the kids loved it and was perfect The spa was so good they worked out all the knots in my back felt like a new person leaving 10/10 to the team in there Heated pool need I say more ..so good

Used for a conference. Air Con broken, but otherwise good facilities, and good service. Nice food as well
