Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe

Staff are very good. One thing that I noticed was, the restaurant manager was a little loud while he corrected the staff. I was very standoffish.

Shared with a friend. We had a family room which was great as we had a room each. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. It had a separate shower and bath. My room had a little fridge. The food was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were there for dancing for the whole weekend It was fabulous. Toilets in public areas were very clean.

Lovely hotel with great service, the staff are very helpful and the food in the restaurant was lovely. Plenty of parking, good gym and sauna facilities. Rooms are very comfortable but tired in some places, chipped furniture and can get very warm as there is no air con. Overall a great place to stay.

Had lunch in here today, food from the bar menu. The service was the best i have ever had. We were treated like royalty. The Staff were top class and couldnt have done enough for us. Highly highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful. 🙂 Also they have gorgeous comfortable settees in the lounge area where you can have a coffee or glass of wine and chat to friends or family The swimming pool was very clean. 10/10 for me. I will certainly stay in the Shearwater again. 🙂🙂🙂

Staff were brilliant, food was incredible and the price was exceptional.

Unfortunately for the management, they had no water due to storm Éowyn. Not a cup of coffee/tea could be had. However, they were distributing free bottles of water. The information as to when the water would return was sketchy. I will return under better circumstances as it would only be fair to give another review.

Second time staying here. Good service and great food. The feather blade beef was top notch 👌 👏. Great venue for pool events.

All hotel facilities were great. Especially we had very delicious dinler in hotels bar in the evening. Thanks a mill
