Shearwater Hotel in Ballinasloe

Great staff. Great food. Lovely bedroom. Ground floor toilets (mens) need to maintained to a higher standard. Door locks not operational on a few cubicles. Flushing mechanism in some cubicles not functional.

This is newer hotel and spa and is located in a lovely village. The pool and fitness facilities are very nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. Nice accommodations and good food in the restaurant. The black pudding was a little dry, but otherwise a nice breakfast buffet.

Good location big carpark . Kitchen - they could do better.

We liked the hotel. Rooms were spotless. The leisure centre is lovely as are the staff. The only negative was the breakfast. We arrived down early both mornings. It was very quiet in the dining area. The food could have been hotter in the bain marie. We had to wait a while for fried eggs so our breakfast was finished when they arrived. The rest of the cold buffet was amazing. We will return here. It's a great location in Ballinasloe.

I went there for a weeding, long weekend, the rooms are ok but they don’t have air conditioning and it was a too warm, the facilities were perfect, I loved the swimming pool and jacuzzi, the gym was great and the cinema excellent, Breakfast was ok and the food in the bar was really good In general is perfect for holidays just a bit expensive probably because was bank holiday

A convenient stopover for the Irish coast. Super-equipped if you arrive by 5 pm. There's a spa and a business center. Excellent rooms. Breakfast with a wide selection.

Far from the station. Air conditioning didn't work well.
