Shishir in Tullamore

This is one of the best Indian Restaurants in the country. I know my Indian food. I travel all over for work and this one is up there with the best. Maybe even the best!!! Had a Lamb Madras, big tender pieces of Lamb, beautiful thick sauce. Very very good. Well done to the chef they have there. I'm coming back next week.

I’m just after finishing a meal here and everything was just beautiful. The food was well portioned, the flavours were fantastic, and the service and atmosphere were great too. Everything was so fresh. I’ve been to India and had beautiful food there, and it’s been hard to match it since being home and the food here really reminded me of what I’ve had in India. Absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be back!

The food was really good and for people who like their food extra spicy, you’ll definitely get it. Definitely would recommend and definitely would come here again.

This is a lovely restaurant with great food and friendly staff. I had a dish I've never tried before, and I've been in lots of Indian restaurants, and it was delicious. The starters were great too, and were obviously homemade and not bought in frozen.

Fantastic little cozy gem in Tullamore. Fantastic food. The Naan bread was freshly made. Gorgeous and worth a visit.

This is such a great place to have a first class oriental dining experience. Staff very helpful and courteous- great service. Food delicious with very generous portions - hence need for 'doggie bags for inevitable leftovers at end of evening. Bring your own wine - can believe ther is no charge for corkage. A must visit for any visitor to Tullamore.

Best Indian restaurant in Ireland.

Our second time to visit this lovely establishment, last year and this evening on the way home from the ploughing, both times the food has been excellent. We love Indian food but this is one of the best we have had. The owner and host is a true gentleman very professional and welcoming even us with a large crew of kids (albeit they are well behaved). If you are in the vicinity of Tullamore make sure you call in, great food, big portions, homely and comfortable and great host and staff, this is typical of a great small local business that do what they do very well and are often underappreciated until they are not there anymore, we all need to support businesses such as these to make sure they thrive. Amazing spot for food would highly recommend. The food has so much flavor and is all freshly cooked. Asad the owner was very polite and made sure we were well looked after. The staff were excellent and very polite.
