Great place for brunch. Staff always super friendly and the food is delicious!

Delightful breakfast stop for an early-start trip from Dublin to Galway. Just a few minutes off the motorway. Delicious food. Impeccable service.

Really enjoy the food and atmosphere here. Had a great lunch yesterday with very tasty salads and this morning we had fantastic breakfast bowls with muesli, yogurt, and a large variety of toppings.

Had lunch with some friends last week, nearly fainted when it came to pay.... it's coffee and a sandwich 😔 crazy.

I had a lovely avocado burrata toast with fried eggs instead of poached, and a regular cappuccino. I paid 19 euro approximately. Just be aware that you have to order over the counter. Definitely a good option for brunch in Maynooth.

Had a second visit to Shoda on Sunday 26th. Another lovely breakfast we both had. Glad to say service was excellent food piping hot delivered by a lovely young man who also took food orders. A definite 5stars this visit and looking forward to more. Highly recommend the baked eggs.... delicious meal. Thanks to all staff.

I had a private meeting. It was lovely and quiet while being busy. Lovely coffee and really nice staff member. I did not eat.

Shoda in Maynooth is a lovely spot with real Avoca-style vibes — bright, relaxed, and a nice place to sit in and enjoy breakfast. The food was excellent. I had the avocado smash on toast with a perfectly poached egg, which was fresh, tasty, and really well put together. We also tried the spicy potato hash, which definitely had a proper kick to it — fair warning if you’re not big on spice, but it was full of flavour and very satisfying. Overall, a really enjoyable breakfast and somewhere I’d happily return to. My only small gripe was that the coffee was served in a mug that was quite chipped, which took away slightly from an otherwise great experience.
