Siam Thai in Malahide

I was skeptical about how authentic would be the food but I was craving for some warm and creamy dish under such chilly weather. I have to say that I was quite satisfied by the Panang curry. It was not clearly stated vegetarian/vegan on the menu but there were the options. And the staff kindly suggested to add tofu to my dish. My husband also enjoy the lunch Bento promo so it was a great choice to sit down for a lunch at Malahide. Service quite fast and clean ambience with partial sea view.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Our waitress was fabulous and made my daughters birthday special. Food was delicious.

Nice Thai restaurant set on the Dublin waterfront. Lots of great Thai and Asian dishes on offer. We got the Dim Sum and the Stir Fry Cashew Nut. Great wine and cocktail menu also.

Great ambience and location. Waiting staff all so busy no greeting or even a smile. We where put up against a wall in the corner it was a bit tight. Waiter seemed unhappy we only spent 110e. Pints where not very cold. Cocktail was only ok. Food was ok. Had better Thai take aways. We won't be back. Ps dont accept table water its 5e. Rip off.

We were served immediately. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. We took advantage of the starter, main course, and dessert deal for €24.95. If you're looking for good Thai food at a good price, this is the place for you. Recommended to everyone.

I met up with friends today at one of the most talked-about restaurants in Malahide. They had ordered noodle dishes, which were generous in portion but rather unremarkable in flavor. Wanting to experience the ingredients more directly, I opted for a stir fry — but unfortunately, it was quite underwhelming, especially considering the nearly €30 price tag. The dish had a soup-like consistency, far from what I’d expect from a stir fry. Overall, the flavors were overwhelmed by an excessive amount of sauce, which masked the taste of the individual ingredients. Given all the glowing reviews on popular sites, I had expected dishes where presentation and the balance of flavors would shine — but that simply wasn’t the case. Aside from the food, the overall experience was disappointing, mainly due to the service. I was running about 15 minutes late, and my friends were planning to wait for me so we could order together, as we had the table reserved for two hours. However, by the time I arrived, their food was already on the table — they felt rushed and pressured to order before I got there. Despite clearly stating I didn’t want any sides, the waitress still added rice to my order, which led me to believe it was included with the main dish. I only realized it had been charged separately when I saw the bill. Later, I asked a waiter to confirm the order, and another staff member came over to check how things were going. I mentioned my concerns about the consistency of the dish, and he kindly explained that the liquid was meant to be part of the sauce. He was very polite and offered me a side of vegetables as a gesture, which I appreciated. There was also a minor mix-up with the wine — I ordered one type and was brought a different one. In the end, I truly appreciated the effort made by the male staff to address my concerns, but I left quite disappointed by the service from the waitresses and the overall quality of the food.

Used to eat here a lot before the pandemic .Revisited recently and was reminded why we stopped going . Staff were very good ,doing their best. Food was below average ….at best . I am not sure what the previous reviewers are comparing to ,but I would say average food is a fair call,in my opinion .

Went here with friends just this week, excellent food and lots of it, in fact almost too much, not complaining just an observation, 3 plates would be more than enough for 4 people. Mixed starter was great and would recommend.
