Siar in Kinvara

A really lovely place to go for a coffee , sandwich etc. Friendly staff.

We made a quick stop during a tour to the Aran Islands, so we only had time to grab a scone and a coffee for take away. That scone is famous in my house. We're afraid we've had the best scone with jam in existence, and none will ever come close. Now, whenever we have a tasty pastry, my husband and I just look at each other and longingly say, 'That scone though...' nothing compares!

Our guide stopped by on our way to the tour. He recommended the freshly baked cinnamon rolls, but I ordered the plant-based scones that were right in front of me because they looked delicious. These were by far the best scones I've ever had. They were still warm, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. They were apple cinnamon with walnuts and absolutely delicious. The flat white I had there was also the best flat white I've ever had. I would definitely like to come back here again if I have the chance. The service from the two lovely ladies with beautiful smiles was also wonderful.

Siar is such a gem! Their toasties and bagels are absolutely delicious, and the homemade cinnamon rolls are a must-try. Ciara, Mike and the whole team do an incredible job — friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. A lovely spot with great food and even better people. Highly recommend..!!

Lovely local spot in Kinvara. We stopped for lunch before heading back to Dublin and really enjoyed it. The special sandwich and quiche were both very tasty, fresh and generous, and the place had a warm, local feel. Good coffee too, and very fair value for money. A great little stop if you’re around Kinvara or exploring the area.

Very tasty food! Also for a reasonable price. They also sell very cute little things, so if you have the budget I would definitely take a look there too :)
