Sidneys Bar & Basserie in Kinsale

Unfortunately they were out of scones. If the waiter could have baked them I'd say he would have, he was so apoplectic. We had coffee and the apple and strawberry crumble instead. Beautifully presented with homemade vanilla ice cream. 10/10. Am already looking forward to going back.

This place gave us a wonderful experience for my cousin's 80th birthday. Nothing was too much trouble. We were able to sit outside, but covered and comfortable. We had an amazing lunch. Portion sizes are generous. I'm vegetarian and had several choices, there's a vegan section on the extensive menu too. For desert I'd asked for lemon cheesecake as its her favourite and it was there! They served it with a candle and sang happy birthday. She was thrilled. Thank you Actons, I'll be back soon.

Lovely coffee shop and a fantastic lady working there called Jessica! She's an absolute star employee! So friendly and professional. I'll be returning!
