29/06/2025: i had previously given this Supermacs a 5 star review, but knocking off a star based on recent visits, and comparing to other Supermacs i have visited (and i have visited a few all over the country). There is nothing wrong with the food, it's great, but the quantities are getting smaller in this particular restaurant compared to others. On a recent visit i ordered a 3 chicken tenders meal, but it was more like 3 chicken wings that i got, a lot smaller than in past times and in other restaurants. I appreciate that real chicken varies in size but other restaurants add in a 4th if the pieces are smaller, box wasn't ¾ full, but not here. I only got 1 ketchup sachet for the meal and when i asked for more i was handed 1 more and had to ask them for another, didn't realise there was a limit. The last bit that really forced this change of review was when i ordered an ice cream, something that ranks highly in my reviews. I ordered a 99 but it was half the size of other places. The 99 flake was taller than the ice cream itself (see photo). A couple of days earlier i ordered a Moozie, hardly any sauce and the oreo was thrown at it and thankfully some stuck. They also heated a chocolate muffin in the plastic wrapper, makes muffin dryer and not to mention a health and safety issue opening plastic that's ready to explode. Supermacs have recently increased their prices and it's looking like they are reducing their portion sizes too, at least (and hopefully only) in this restaurant, but at least I can be prepared now. Maybe they will adjust their slogan for this restaurant to "Tasty and tempting and shrinking food at Supermacs" I'll compare experiences with other ones over the coming weeks and see how it goes, really hope it's isolated
