Superb tasting pints & a fantastic atmosphere... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Arrived on bank holiday Friday -Sunday go to the bar to get key for room the room was ok but not that clean the corner table with tea/coffee facilities was stained badly tea stains down the walls lots of dust behind the beds the bathroom was stinking with damp/mould coming from the shower into wardrobe wall could do with a chair in the room Floorboards creaked really bad every time you walked across them which was very annoying the room itself is not soundproof didn't sleep at all due to music in lounge underneath until after 1 both nights and noisy guests next door so if your a light sleeper bring your earplugs also no TV stations apart from the 3/4 usual ones avoid no 4 only plus was the bed was comfortable this ruined our weekend this place is good for stopover the bar and outside area needs a good cleaning/dusting the seats in bar are very uncomfortable plus there was no entertainment on Saturday which we were looking forward to theres also the 15 20 mins walk into town from the bar taxis are very few and far between all in all it was ok 😔

A wonderful place! Lively, in the middle of local life, with something going on at any time of the day, representing all ages. Nice people in front of and behind the counter, good beer, good whiskey, breakfast and lunch were great. Unfortunately I missed the live music on Sunday. Greetings to everyone I had such a good time with there ☘️

We had food there after a funeral. Food was great service and such pleasant staff.

I have forgotten this pub!It has been years .. Big mistake on my behalf. Great Irish bar with the usual suspects of beverages. Comfortable seating with good views of the televisions for the sports enthusiast. ..It provides live music at times.A right little watering hole ...all in the best light.. of course. Well, it's worth a visit.

Excellent place. Could not fault anything. The room we stayed in was lovely. Spotlessly clean and a real shower. Great value. The food and service was brilliant. Would highly recommend a stay here. Will definitely be staying again.
