Siroccos in Tullamore

We were looking forward to dinner at Siroccos having booked a table downstairs in the main restaurant for 6:00 PM. Instead, we arrived to find our table had been given to someone else, and we were placed upstairs. The waiter was unaccommodating when we mentioned our booking with Paula the owner, offering no real explanation. While the main restaurant looked better, the upstairs area is dark, dingy, and features failing floor boards that need urgent renovation. We won't be back . Food is good but they need to up there game in decor....

July 2026 Poor service, great food. Three of us were passing through Tullamore on 20th July, having driven for much of the day and with two hours of driving to go. We dropped in. Two tables for two were put together for us next to the counter. Apparently it wasn't possible to put two tables for two together in a quieter part of the restaurant because those tables were needed for couples. A few minutes later I noticed a table for four being cleared by the window (a much quieter spot) and asked if we could move. I was told it was needed in 30 minutes for a booking. 20 minutes later two people were seated at that table. When I asked for the bill I was told it would be brought to the table. It wasn't. When I went to the counter to pay I wasn't given a bill but just told the cost. Neither was I given a receipt. I could have asked for both but that shouldn't be necessary. I'm still wondering why I left a tip. It must've been tiredness from all that driving. I hope the kitchen staff got it. Read less

Wonderful family run restaurant, fresh ingredients, amazing service. will 100% be back. Tiktok videos are clearly nothing to do with the establishment and a lesson that we shouldn't listen to micro influencers with an ego.. Best of luck to the family.

Wow, amazing restaurant. No reservation and they got us a table within a few minutes. Food is absolutely delicious Staff are very friendly, helpful and very professional

I have been going to Siroccos since it opened many years ago. Always an exceptional expierence. Excellent food tailored to our European palate. Wheather it is a dine in or take away the food is always 100 %. A note to remember ! It is the busiest restaraunt in town and all members of staff are pasionate about their place of work. Dining at Siroccos is a must if you’re visiting Tullamore. Buzzing atmosphere, open kitchen and consistently great food. A little gem in the middle of town that makes you forget you’re even in Ireland.
