Skellys Bar in Ballymahon

We're six Spaniards traveling from Belfast to Galway and stopped for lunch on this very hot Sunday. The food was excellent, although we had a bit of a wait. It was truly worth the wait!

The pictures do not do this place a justice!!! Sadly I missed food but menu looks amazing breakfast was freshly cooked and very nice Bar large and people very friendly staff very welcoming Accommodated me with my dog and there aren’t many places that do and are genuine about being dog friendly Serve very nice Guinness Room spacious and clean The garden at the bottom is huge and lovely Wished I could have stayed longer Very good value for money Thanks for a lovely stay! X

Had a random stop today for a meal at Skellys Bar and it was well worth it. Food is absolutely amazing and big portions. Very nice selection for the kids too. Staff very friendly and owner very helpful and know how to treat customers to fell welcome. Highly recommend to try.

We stayed at Skelly’s last weekend for mum’s 80th family party!! We had an amazing time the Guinness is the best Pat and Seamus and all the staff were amazing they literally couldn’t do enough for us, we were made to feel very welcome all with a big friendly smile!! The only downside was the mattress in the room but the rooms were clean The breakfast was very delicious as was the food served at the party!! We will highly recommend you to our friends and family Nicola & Vincent Bremaud
