Sli Dala Restaurant in Kinnitty

We went for dinner. The staff were excellent. Food was good. Access for people with mobility issues could be a challenging. How ever there may be other dinning areas that might be accessible.

We recently stayed a night in the O'Connell room at Kinnitty, and it was GORGEOUS. My husband and I agreed that it was the nicest hotel room that either of us have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The dungeon bar was cozy for a few pints before dinner, the grounds were lovely to walk around, and dinner in the dungeon bar was also great. The only downside was there was a wedding going on just outside of our room, but I had earplugs, so it wasn't much of an issue. We also were served a good breakfast the next morning before departing. We were even lucky enough to have Conor, the hotel manager, sit with us for a bit in the evening and tell us stories about the hotel. 10/10, would stay again.

We had a wonderful time. The room and bathroom were spacious and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was wonderful and we enjoyed walking the grounds before we left. The fairy garden was so special. I would absolutely return.

This place was a big of a drive for us but it was well worth it. The drive in is also picturesque. The room was large and well appointed. Huge bathroom! We had afternoon tea that had yummy tea and snacks. We ate dinner in the dungeon and everything we had was great. Fantastic service and great place to stay. I'll definitely be back.

Lovely weekend getaway with friends- a bit more off the beaten path which I loved- beautiful grounds, lovely staff!

Kind of out of the way from Galway or Dublin but definitely worth the visit. We had tea in a castle, dinner in the dungeon bar, and walked the castle grounds during the day. Staying in a castle was a highlight of our trip to Ireland. I will definitely try to visit again.

Enjoyed a lovely coffee, gorgeous food and walk on the grounds. All the staff we met were very welcoming and accommodating. Definitely worth a visit and stay!

Exquisite food amid a beautiful and historic property. Walking and riding trails are accessible to all and the staff is welcoming. Perfect place to escape, feel like royalty, and wash away stress.

Came for afternoon tea recently and was quite underwhelmed by the whole set up. The best I can say about it is that it was fine. The quality of the food didn't impress and whilst there was unlimited tea the pots were covered in stains. If this is meant to be a 5 star hotel then that level of service and attention was definitely lacking. I wouldn't rush back.
