Called in for lunch, lovely food, friendly staff and good value.

We had a fabulous experience here. Shout out to Connor, Aoife, Sabrina, and Yacob for making my parents trip so comfortable.

A beautifully peaceful place with all the charm and authenticity of a castle that's over 800 years old.

Beautifull castle the hotel is stunning inside and out and the food in the dungeon bar is very very nice. Only problem we had was our room was freezing cold I can accept it was an old castle but we where given an electric heater and it made very little difference. Our bathroom was warmer than the rest of the room. I would love to stay again as I feel I enjoyed everything else just the room let me down.

Came here for a walk to kill a bit of time and it was really lovely, the castle grounds are lovely

We only called for food. The grounds were amazing and staff were super friendly and welcoming.

What a castle dream! We stayed the evening and enjoyed a friends wedding. Wow just gorgeous, with wonderful service. The banquet hall was gorgeous and was a great backdrop to the wedding. And enjoying the evening in the Cormac Suite was such a fun and unique experience

My son and I were very disappointed and wish we had stayed at one of the other castle hotels for our one of a kind experience. The staff were lovely - but the hotel was so dirty. Our room had bugs and leaves on the windows, a huge spider in the corner and the bathroom- dust everywhere and we chose not to use the tub. The stairs down to the courtyard I don’t think have been vacuumed in years. They do have a nice walking trail but there’s no gardens. The courtyard is lovely, but it’s not a garden. We were allowed to eat in one venue as there was a wedding. I’m so glad we only had one night here, and thankfully our next hotel Clontarf was 5 stars, for the same price. Unfortunately this was my sons one trip to Ireland and this was the most disappointing place we stayed and the one with the highest expectations, we definitely would not stay here again.

The moment you walk through the doors, you are transported back in time. You feel like royalty. The food was magnificent!
