Sliced in Cork

I visited Sliced in Ballincollig with one other person after hearing positive opinions from people who had their lunchtime sandwiches. I was more than impressed with what we got. I knew Sliced since they first opened in Cork city centre as a pizza/pasta restaurant. I usually have pizza for dinner and when I heard they offered good sandwiches, I thought to visit at lunchtime to see what it was like. The site in Ballincollig is roomy and bright. The staff were very kind and found a table for us immediately on arrival. It was not busy at the time we arrived, around 1.30pm on a Thursday. The menu is the same as what is on their website. We ordered the Guac Chicken Wrap and Chicken Caesar Wrap. Both were served with salad and tortilla crisps. Soup or chips were available as side orders. Both dishes tasted amazing. The reason I am not giving the food five stars is because they should have made it clear to customers that there is a salad and tortillas with the order. I was close to ordering a side salad but happy I did not since it was already on the plate. The price for both sandwiches was just over €20 which is not bad given the serving size and presentation. I would recommend Sliced to anyone dining out for lunch in Ballincollig.

Was here for a team lunch and had a pleasant experience. Tried their Truffle delight Pizza , fries and cheesecake. Great value for money , quite sumptuous and delicious. Parking available just around the bend which makes it a great location to hangout.

Went with two couples tonight; two vegans and two omnivores. There were no obviously vegan options on the menu, but we were told they had vegan cheese, so could make us whatever pizza we chose with that. Service was really nice and the food was excellent, both vegan and non-vegan. We had a lovely dinner out, everyone was full and happy at the end.

I went for lunch with my three daughters and my grandson, and it was so nice that we all had different things and couldn't fault any of them.

I needed a quick turn around recently with the kids. The pizzas were lovely- gorgeous crust & the service was great. We'll be back!

Lovely coffee reasonably priced. The friendliness of each and everyone of the staff won't be beaten.

Food was mediocre, staff were lovely and very quick and efficient. No real atmosphere but wasn't expecting any, it was a quick pizza with the kids after the cinema.

Estaba en Ballincollig para una cita en el hospital que se extendió en el tiempo y estábamos buscando un lugar para comer algo rápido. Fuimos a Sliced y tuvimos una buena experiencia, desde el momento en que entramos hasta que salimos. Personal muy amable y servicial, la comida muy sabrosa y un montón de ella, sin duda voy a llamar de nuevo y podría recomendar encarecidamente Sliced como un lugar para comer.

Tuve una experiencia media. Mi pizza era un poco pequeña para mi gusto, ya que soy un poco codicioso, por lo demás era delicioso Descubrí que mi pizza estaba un poco quemada en lugares como la zona de la corteza. Mi amigo consiguió la ensalada que era una porción gigantesca que era suficiente para alimentar a tres adultos. La ensalada también estaba a mitad😕 En general mi experiencia fue media😕 La comida era un poco caro para mi gusto. Volví unos días después y mi segunda experiencia fue aún más media que la primera meh 😒
