Slieve Bloom Bar in Kinnitty

We accidentally dropped into this cozy brewery bar. We were greeted by a hospitable owner and a wonderful dog. We really liked this place, so authentic and traditional, imbued with Irish history. A cozy fireplace, candles, background Irish music create a special atmosphere of the bar. Very tasty beer, which is brewed right here. We asked if they make food, we were told that unfortunately they do not, however, a couple of minutes later the owner of the bar brought a dish of pork, cheese and delicious bread that he had prepared himself, so that the guests would not be hungry. Absolutely free! It was unexpected and so pleasant and we are very grateful! A soulful bar, we highly recommend visiting and a huge thank you to Kieran for such a wonderful time we spent in this place!

Really good spot & the owner Kieran makes everyone feel welcome. Top class spot that is also a microbrewery. The Pikeman Stout is top notch
