The hotel is relatively centrally located in Sligo, just a short walk from the town center with its many pubs and restaurants. A large parking lot directly at the hotel offers free parking. The reception area and lobby are reminiscent of a grand hotel. The staff (reception, dining room) were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent in terms of selection, variety, and freshness. Our room was spacious but unfortunately lacked air conditioning, which I expect as standard in a hotel of this category. It was very hot in the room, which was unpleasant and made it difficult to sleep. The fitness center was unfortunately closed on weekends, which I found very disappointing. Other hotels handle this better. I don't need supervision or guidance to exercise.

Great location, friendly staff, good Guinness, but for those with dust allergies, I don't recommend it. The room had very heavy air, I think the carpet wasn't vacuumed properly. The water disappeared from the sink twice, but the problem was resolved quickly. The pizza was below average, the dough was a bit undercooked, we had to send it back.

The breakfast offering was a disgrace for 4 star 17e. No pastries, no real bread selection, no real fruit selection, no cheese and meat. The saltiest scrambled egg. You'd get better in a 3 star.
The rooms where nice and the staff friendly but the hotel needs upgrading. The location is the only 4 star thing about it

Had dinner in the bar as restaurant was fully booked. Geeshan was a brilliant host, so friendly, couldn't do enough for us even though the bar was so busy! Very lucky to have him in the hotel!

I stayed here for an overnighter. The food was excellent and the room was lovely. The added touch of a packet of tayto crisps and water was fantastic.
Great service, the staff were so friendly and accommodating.
