Sligo Southern Hotel in Sligo

This hotel is in a good location, but 4 stars? That’s a bit generous. It’s very dated. The mattresses are cheap and uncomfortable. Our room was so unbearably hot and felt moist and hard to breathe in, and there is no way to open the window more than a few centimeters. The lift was broken so we had to carry our own luggage up and down the stairs. We were also put in a wing that was actively being painted and worked on, so the fumes were quite unenjoyable on our walks from reception to the room. Would definitely stay elsewhere next time I’m in town.

It has a very nice bar with a good choice of largers. The hotel is amazing and very clean. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful.

Old fashoned hotel , good position nearby train and bus station, good breakfast

Overnight stay on a tour of the north. Short walk from the bus and train station. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful.

Actually here for leisure centre and swimming lessons. {perfect for swimming lessons). Very good staff and very polite and nice. Don't know about the rest of the hotel

Went to this hotel for a turkey and tinsel 5 night with my mother. Had a great time staff excellent and very helpful very attentive. Rooms spotless, had all needed it room just had to ask if anything else needed. Service in bar area excellent all areas clean.in a great location be side train station about 5min walk to town centre. Will be back for sure. Thanks again all staff in the hotel. Great hotel

Spent lovely 5 nights with the ladies. Very comfortable room clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful food 🍲 all well organised. Staff so friendly woul do anything for you. Hotel few minutes from train station so convenient. Only fault was bedroom's to hot 🔥 💖💖
