Sneem Hotel in

We spent two nights at Sneem Hotel after a horrible night at an Airbnb we booked and wow what can I say about our experience here it was 5 star from the customer service, atmosphere, food and of course Red’s hospitality! I highly recommend spending time here and I heard wonderful things about the Seaweed Baths!

Went for a meal and would like a weekend there...great food in a modern, bright and well maintained setting. Good traditional Irish friendly welcome and atmosphere.

Great view, around the hotel, it has great walking trails. Kindly staff.

Lovely hotel but for price point would have expected better. We booked a room with a balcony which was quite spacious but I felt the bathroom was too small. I was looking forward to a relaxing bath but it felt too confined & when my partner went to try it out, the water had a brownish hue so that put me off completely. Could get rid of desk area with mirror & extend bathrooms, especially in the balcony rooms. The balcony itself was very big & had stunning views, but again needs some maintenance, boards falling at the side & a bad finish to the front, again for the price point would expect better. Was disappointed on check in that the receptionist called out our room number when other people around the lobby, if I was travelling alone, I would have asked for my room to be changed. We were advised on check in there was live music in the bar @ 9pm so we came down to have a drink & to check it out, but there was no music on & no real atmosphere, so we went back to our room to chill out. Breakfast was ok, sausages & eggs where good but did not enjoy the rest. Apple juice was very watered down & tasted more like water. Overall, will love to come back to Sneem, but don't think we will book this hotel, sadly.

It took one and a half hours for our food to arrive. The food was fine - an 8/10 but the wait was too long Food ordered at 6:45 and served at 8:15 Friendly serving staff

Very helpful young lady at check-in. I had to depart early and the night porter was more than helpful in organising breakfast for me. Really lovely, looking forward to a return trip to spend more time.

Love this hotel we have stayed here upwards of four times and intended to stay many more it's a great location in Kerry with many of the other great areas such as Killarney,Kenmare, Waterville, The Skelligs and many more all with in a hours drive. All the staff are so helpful

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful view over the lake. In the middle of the woods. Very friendly staff. Evening meal and breakfast were delicious.
