Sole Seafood & Grill in Dublin

Fantastic restaurant beautiful food and personable service thank you Patricia for looking after us. The mussels were really good and the scallops delicious. Nice ambience I’ll be back!

We had been before around three years ago and had really enjoyed the restaurant. It is now very popular and we were given a side table that made us feel that we were sitting in a corridor. The service is still good, but I still don’t like our wine bottle being put into a shared ice bucket away from the table. Food is still as good and service is prompt, but now we got the impression of wanting to turn the table. It was very busy on the Saturday night and as a result very noisy so not as pleasant as when we visited before when it had been quieter.

We’re currently dining here, and I can honestly say this is one of the best sea bass dishes we’ve ever had. The presentation was beautiful, and the side dishes complemented the main course perfectly — an absolutely delicious meal. The ambiance and service were also outstanding. Highly recommended if you’re in Dublin. Thank you, Sole!

We booked well in advance for a party of five, so it was surprising to be seated at a table clearly meant for four. It took asking twice before we were finally moved to a more suitable table. Disappointing start to what we had hoped would be a smooth experience. Service remained slow throughout. Food was good on the whole, although the batter on the fish and chips was burnt. Limited dairy free options. Water charge was extortionate, especially when we were not asked if we wanted a second bottle.

My mum and I enjoyed a wonderful meal here on Friday evening as part of her 70th birthday celebrations! Gabriel was exceptional and we were pleased we followed his recommendations as we both loved the Halibut for main and Key Lime Tart for dessert. Would definitely come again next time we are in Dublin!

Best fine dining seafood rest I’ve been in Ireland. I got seafood chowder and monkfish and they both were so delicious! Monkfish came with aranchini and the seafood chowder was AMAZING!! The atmosphere is also good, and the prices are not crazy.

Awesome discovery for a foodie. The place looks great, although it’s pretty big with a lot of customers. We had seats at the bar, so we were isolated from the rest of the place. The staff was extraordinary nice and welcoming, especially our main server Thais. She was very knowledgeable about the paired wines, and oh so sweet. We were too early for the tasting menu which only starts at 8pm normally, but she and the manager arranged it so we had extra time, plus the kitchen also agreed to provide it regardless. All in all we had a great time, great food, excellently paired wines and spirits and awesome service!

Had a wonderful day here on Sunday for mothers day with my mam and sisters food was amazing and service was amazing too. Definitely will be back again.thank you.
