I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the Grafton Hotel concierge. The restaurant is a short walk from the hotel. The atmosphere was wonderful; you could easily have a conversation. It was very elegant without being pretentious. The hostess gave me a lovely quiet table, just as I had requested, and I was lucky enough to have the best waitress in the restaurant, Pilar. The food arrived at a reasonable time, and everything was impeccable: the tablecloth, glasses, silverware, and delicious bread. I ordered scallops, and they were so good I had seconds. The wine list was excellent, so I ordered a Malbec. Pilar is an excellent professional, she sensed it was a special night, and when I mentioned I was celebrating my birthday, she surprised me with some pastries and a nice little gift to celebrate. All my experiences in Dublin were wonderful it was the best farewell possible till my next visit.
