Sophie's Rooftop Galway in Galway

This restaurant boasts a fantastic atmosphere and stunning views. The food was also excellent. However, the service felt incredibly rushed. While I understand it was busy, our server took the menu away before I had even finished ordering. A little more patience would have made the experience perfect.

A very nice place with lovely atmosphere and very polite service. The view is very nice…if the weather is good. The place closes at 10.30 and not 9.30 as is stated in Google. A very good option for dinner in Galway

WOW wow wow, amazing, I have no words.

Took our team here for dinner. Service was great. Location is great. Food however was below average for the price. We were a group of 11 people so were given a set menu. It’s had decent options but flavors were underwhelming. Staff were very attentive. I am guessing it’s a good place for drinks but not sure if I would pick this place for food.

Food was fine but absolutely not worth the money. Had the burrata and baby potatoes. Came to like 25-30 euro in total. Barrata was literally just the baratta, some sauce and a mouthful of bread. The baby potatoes were roasted but not even crispy and not seasoned correctly. There are a million better places to eat in Galway and the restaurant itself doesn't really justify the price. The view is nice but food is not worth it. It feels like a bit of tourist trap sadly.

Best dinner in Galway. From starter to dessert, everything was delicious and well presented. Great place to to.

Have been here numerous times before and thoroughly enjoyed it. We returned as a group of seven to celebrate a birthday. We received great, attentive service but we really didn’t enjoy the change in menu. No more pizza’s and it certainly felt like the prices have gone up, €28 for a pasta dish. Not great if your party includes younger teens etc, which I can only assume is the intention. We won’t be rushing back sadly.

I had a lovely dinner here on Tuesday night with my family after happening across the restaurant on google. We ordered the salmon, risotto, pesto pasta, and some appetizers that were absolutely delicious. Our server Emma was a delight and we shared some wonderful conversation toward the end of our meal. We left satisfied and smiling, we’ll be back for more.

Have been here several times and the food is always so delicious and the service is great, all the staff are extremely friendly and the atmosphere is very clean.
