Sophie's Rooftop Galway in Galway

We came here 26.12.24 on our anniversary. We were looking for something with a nice view and ambience with good food, and Sophie’s did not disappoint we were welcomed by the lovely Rebecca at the front and seated quickly with a beautiful table overlooking the Galway skyline at night. The gentleman serving us, possibly French, was very attentive serving us and friendly! I had the duck salad to start (so tasty!) and sea bass afterwards followed by dessert, they even surprised us during dessert with a little extra icecream with a little message on it. Such a nice touch. Drinks were superb and we can’t wait to come back again for another visit. Thank you Sophie’s! :)

Really wonderful meal with good portion sizes and the service was friendly and attentive. The garlic bread with mozzarella and the seafood linguini were especially amazing.

satisfactory experience, atmosphere is very nice but service and food are not so good. the restaurant should reconsider its menu, as the location and the place itself are very beautiful but there is nothing else that makes the place stand out:(

Food was absolutely amazing, service was just as good and the atmosphere is so lovely. The staff could not have been more attentive. Food was so good and portions are very decent.

Service was good the staff are nice and welcoming. The pizza was nice but the order was mixed up, Starters duck salad was tiny and tasted odd, Don't understand why they don't have wings on the menu but have pizza poor selection of starters. Ordered a Long Island ice tea and could barely taste alcohol from it which is always a red flag. I feel you're paying for the 'rooftop' experience.

Disappointing, food was decent but not worth the price. The cost of the set menu was more expensive because we booked ahead and also there was a mandatory 12.5% service charge. For the mains on member of our party got their foor over 15 mins later that everyone else.

All of our cocktails tasted like ice (watery) the flavours weren’t able to come through. Great view and nice seating/decor, AC made it cold inside.

My favorite restaurant in Galway and I come here every time I am in Galway. Fantastic service, food and atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

Only popped in for coffee but was still impressed by the bar staff/waitress and service I received. I will definitely return with more time , some friends and eat.
