Sophie's in Dublin

I’ve been here for birthday dinners throughout the years but never really enjoyed the food. This time was different. We really enjoyed our mains: the fish and the ravioli. Cocktails are decent… the atmosphere and views just make everything 10 times better. Service is excellent. I will be coming back for sunset drinks and pizza!

Been here twice while visiting Dublin for the weekend. Get in at "The Dean" and take elevator to 5th floor.

The view was great!!! Food was also quite good. Relaxing atmosphere. Perfect spot!! My Caesar Salad was tremendous.

If you ever get served by JUSTIN, I promise you’re in good hands! Justin looked after us for a brunch to celebrate my husbands 28th birthday and my oh my was he just the best ever! The food was great, very tasty, and our cocktails (Amaretto Sours) were 10/10! But the service was even better! We would go back just for him! Justin, if you see this, thank you so much for making my husbands birthday a memorable one! All the best, you’re an asset to the Sophie’s team!!

Wonderful place over the roofs of dublin. Very good Drinks and food

We thought it would be fun to look over Dublin during a dinner for a birthday. This was partly prevented due to high-rise buildings; a completely unobstructed view, which we expected, was not entirely there. The weather was fine so you can also see the city. Furniture very dated and a shame about the many wear spots and holes in the sofas. Because we didn't want to eat the food too quickly on our birthday, we ordered the main course a little later. Then we were told that the table should be available again 2 hours later. We thought this was all a little less than we had hoped for. The food certainly tasted great. At the end some attention was paid to the birthday.

We were extremely lucky to get a table. However that was the only luck we had during our meal. We were seated and given water almost immediately. We were never asked or offered more water after that. We had told the waiter we were going to have drinks after our meal at the terrace bar. We ordered two starters. The winter salad was missing some of the vegetables stated on the menu. They must have telepathically known that I was going to take the candied walnuts out of my salad because there wasn’t any in the salad at all. We also had the risotto. It was very good. For dinner we had the vegan penne and once again it had very little of the listed ingredients in the dish. We never saw our waiter again until we needed to settle the bill.

The venue is great with lovely views of the city. The staff were friendly and professional. The steak was ok but all four at our table were over cooked beyond preference. The pizza’s were soggy, loaded with toppings but way too thin to pull it off. Definitely over priced for the quality of the food. .
