Sourdo'Farrell Bakery in Ennis

tremendous pastries, sourdough and coffee. my buddies and i are from new york city for 5 days and we came here 3 times. arguably one of the best sourdoughs ive ever had! would highly recommend - esp the spelt sourdough!!

Stumbled upon this bakery while on a roadtrip through Ireland. My partner and I are bakery enthusiasts and we try new ones whenever we can especially during our travels (and we’ve seen a few). Sourdo’Farrell is no doubt one of the best even compared to the most famous in Copenhagen. Hope to comeback someday. Also the coffee is very good.

Best toastie I ever had, outside of the house.

Easily our favorite bakery in Ireland! Not only are they baking incredible artisanal sourdough, but their pastries are also highly skilled and innovative. They even offer a much higher quality of coffee than you typically find at a bakery. On top of that, they feature a small menu of prepared food. The classic sambo was packed with flavor and had a perfectly crispy exterior. The only downside is that with so many beautiful pastries on display, you might experience decision paralysis! We actually got back in line just to buy extra pastries to-go. The maple pecan roll is the one I'll be dreaming about! We also picked up a small loaf of ciabatta to enjoy later with lunch. The line moved fast, the staff were absolutely delightful, and they have some nice outdoor seating to enjoy breakfast. This is honestly one of the most well-balanced bakeries I've ever experienced.

Went in at 9.30am and 12.30pm for food and drinks. Both times we waited just over 5 mins to order and then less for the food. They staff in there are super lovely and patient, they took time with each customer. The selection of pastries and savoury options is great! This place is always a must when passing day. We basically came down to Ennis today from Galway just for Sourdo'Farrell. The sambos are very fresh and flavourful. I would recommend the kimchi toasties! Oh we also got a apple crumble Danish, that was class.

Nice vibes, but they ran out of vegan options when we arrived and were unable to modify anything else (sandwiches) on the menu.
