Old Ground Hotel in Ennis

As always a lovely trip to the Old Ground. A place with special memories and every visit adds to them. Thank you all for the lovely stay.

I arrived (with friends) a day before our Rick Steves tour was going to start. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend that they have a document with local resources (laundromat, pharmacy, bank, etc.). [We were given directions to a laundromat and instead got a mini tour of the city. Finally found one!] It was great that there was a facecloth in the bathroom. Food and the many options to dine was very good. We were there on a match day so the city was a bit overcrowded, but what fun to be a part of it. Loved that it was a quick walk from the train/bus station.

Our favourite hotel * beautiful, comfortable, staff are all lovely, in an ideal central location in Ennis.

I can't thank the staff enough for accommodating us when we arrived before check-in exhausted from our delayed overnight flight. Everyone was so helpful. The hotel is gorgeous, the library/lounge area was cozy and comfortable.

Wonderful break in The Old Ground during the week. Faultless service, hospitality, food & value. The staff are lovely - special thanks to the team in Town Hall restaurant for looking after us so well. Still thinking about that meal! Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely hotel, right in the town. Great food and bustling bar and restaurant. Recommend this one!

This is the best, and only place we stay in Ennis. We've been several times and it's always a pleasure.

Lovely staff and beautiful accommodations

We always stay here when down that side of the country. I love the open fire and beautiful paintings such variety. The Resturant is also excellent. This time they were having some renovations done accross from our room and started early In the morning which we were not informed about. Also we got charged for breakfast we didn't have, be aware to check your bill. When pointed out we were refunded.

Absolutely incredible hotel. Perfect location, great staff, great rooms. Hope to go back again sometime.
