Old Ground Hotel in Ennis

Our stay at this hotel has been amazing. The staff is incredible, especially Colin at the poets corner bar made our experience top notch. We really appreciate him and all the staff.

The hotel staff were very polite, friendly and hospitable. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there was a great selection of food. I would recommend staying at the Old Ground Hotel!

Beautiful old hotel. Lots of lobby space to sit and relax with a pub in the back. Outside seating area also very nice with tables and chairs. Rooms a bit outdated but expected for this hotel.

Every aspect of our stay was excellent. The rooms were most comfortable. The food was of the highest quality and the staff extremely friendly and helpful

We stayed two nights recently in this fabulous hotel.The service was fantastic from the moment we checked in. We were upgraded to a room with a walk in shower which was much appreciated. We love spending time in the Old Ground Hotel, the food, the atmosphere, the service and the accommodation is of a very high standard. We couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough and we are looking forward to our next stay.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Location was brilliant for a nice stay in Ennis (car park included, close to restaurants and pubs). Breakfast was also pleasant but a bit chaotic: had to wait a fair bit to get a table, and we were disappointed with the scrambled eggs (made in advance = too dry). The mattress was also a bit of a let down as it felt quite lumpy. This being said, we'd probably stay here again if we come back to Ennis!
