South County Bar in Cork

Always friendly, busy and enjoyable

Four of us ate here last weekend. Managed to squeeze us in which was much appreciated. Food, atmosphere and quality of drinks was superb. Well worth the trip out from the city.

Great spot for a drink with friends..

A nice pub with friendly staff and good beer. Live music was a lovely touch. I enjoyed a pint of Murphy’s by the fire.

Went there last night for dinner for the first time with a friend. As most of the reviews mention this is a nice traditional bar/restaurant with pleasant staff. We had main course and dessert and both ok, Nothing to rave about as similar to what youd get at home but no compliants either. I'd go to bar again as nice atmosphere but probably not have a meal

Great bar / restaurant in Douglas. Friendly staff and excellent service. Plenty of tvs showing sport. Very much what a great Irish local should be.
