South County Bar in Cork

The chicken schnitzel is the best meal we had in our 11 days in Ireland! It was delicious! The sticky toffee pudding was also perfect! Love the atmosphere and Customer Service was great. One of our best restaurant experiences in Ireland.

We arrived a half hour before closing for one last toast. They were very patient in kicking us out for the night. It was a Family Reunion from across the globe so we appreciated that they allowed us that. Thank you

Great meal in lovely casual setting

Myself and my Dad met at the South County on a Friday evening for a drink and a bite to eat. It was one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had for years. The place was packed and had a fantastic atmosphere. Service at the bar was top class. The wait staff were also exceptional. We both ordered the chicken schnitzel and would highly recommend it. We had a great chat with the owner, Kieran, who couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Overall, 5 star experience in every area. Already looking forward to going back. Great spot but I feel horrible after the curry - total MSG overload and had a splitting headache and all the other MSG symptoms. Tasted good though! Leek and potato soup was amazing

Great pub in Douglas, basically an institution if were being honest. The staff are lovely, the food is good and well price and if you're looking for pub with ambience this is a great spot. It caters to the young and the old and is worth a visit for a pint if you're a local or just in the area.

Went here for dinner today and it was absolutely beautiful 😍 Had the Halloumi Burger and it was just delicious, paired with pesto on the bun and a succulent portobello mushroom. So divine. The staff were always very attentive and kind which is hard to find these days!

Awesomenplace for a quiet pint or a family outing. Food is unreal proper homemade tasting.
