As a Tom Crean fan I made a point of travelling down from Dublin and staying local back in October. So glad I did. Highly recommend for anyone interested in his story and travels. Staff very friendly. Food was tops too.
A very welcoming pub in Annascaul. The staff is friendly and service excellent. I really enjoyed the local fish that I ordered.
There is a lot of memorabilia about Tom Crean whose Antarctic exploits are celebrated in Ireland. We'll be back if we visit the area again.
As admirer of explorer Tom Crean I had to go there. Many fotos on the wall, good food, Crean Beer from Kenmare. The house looks from outside not so nice anymore as seen on elder fotos. Grave not far away.
We really enjoyed visiting this Inn, very interesting and full of useful information and the ambience and service excellent. Food quality very good both in choice, quality and price.
