Stylish Setting, But Value is Slipping
Sparks Bistro is undeniably a beautiful place—inside, it's elegant and thoughtfully designed, creating an upscale atmosphere that really makes for a special evening out.
However, I've noticed a shift over time: the portion sizes have gotten noticeably smaller, while prices have remained high, which makes the value feel less satisfying than it once was. It's tempting to go for the ambiance, but it feels like you're paying more for the décor than the meal.
All that said, if you're after a visually impressive spot and don't mind spending a bit more, Sparks still delivers on atmosphere. Just be prepared for smaller servings that may not meet your expectations for the price.

Typical bistro food. Area is pretty busy because it’s right next to the Jamison distillery. When we went, it also was the weekend of the Kansas Iowa game so there was a lot of people from America in here.
The food is typical bistro food. A little overpriced for what you get. I do not recommend the house red wine, it was almost undrinkable.
The Caesar salad was not a Caesar salad. It was Romain lettuce with mayonnaise and bacon, and a couple of small croutons.
The meatballs were very small as well, but tasty
If you’re in a crunch and you need to eat then definitely this will do the job, but I don’t generally really recommend it .
The shrimp starter had three shrimp and some calamari and it was €16 .

Amazing food and service. Had the Lobster and crab ravioli, was delicious. Great spot. Would recommend if you’re in Dublin.

Great restaurant!! Lots of amazing menu options. The pene chicken carbonara and chicken Marsala was FANTASTIC! Server was very nice and gave us lots of extra water on this hot summer day!

I came here for lunch almost every day during my holiday, and it was always outstanding. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, and the food never disappoints. Truly one of the best spots in the area!

The burger was excellent and the service too, the waiters are attentive and very friendly. The restaurant is a little hidden but it's worth going there for a visit. Honestly a good experience 👍
