The restaurant and staff were very nice and service was very good. The mixed meat grill was excellent. I ordered the chicken korma but I found it very bland, all I could taste really was cream, no spices. The side order of curry sauce was also bland, more like a tomato based sauce, but no curry flavor. I would go back again though and try another dish.

I had a fantastic experience at spice India. The ambiance was warm, and the staff were friendly. The food was the highlight, especially the dopiaza which was flavourful and perfectly spiced. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Indian flavours!

Had a dinner booked here. We seemed to be sat away from the main restaurant in an extension by the toilets. Very unautmospheric. We ordered and had a long wait for food which was fine as the food was very nice when we got it. However nobody approached us once after the food was served. We werent asked if the food was OK. The plates weren't cleared, we werent offered dessert or tea and coffee or more drink. Which we probably would have ordered given the option. Hence the 3 stars

Super delicious food we were really impressed. Very rich and quality sauces which is what i seek in an indian! Lamb so tender and very tasty naan. Wonderful service from very warm and friendly waitress. Thanks, we will be back!

Glancy's Bar

23/09/2024: Just returned home after a stag weekend in Glancys accommodation in Carrick on Shannon. We had 23 guests and I would definitely recommend staying here for your stag/hen party. The accommodation was clean, loads of parking, plenty of space for all of our guests, showers all worked perfectly and the location is a short walking distance to the Main Street. Jim organises someone to work as security on the complex until 5am so there is no messing about and they ensured everyone got home safe by giving us a card to call if we ever got in any bother while out on the town which is a class touch. Glancys sports bar directly across the road from the accommodation is a great spot with a cracking breakfast/food and outdoor beer garden, pool table and I would like to thank Jim and the team for their hospitality the weekend was class thanks from myself and all of our guests.
25/08/2024: Nice grub from the Chinese restaurant. Very lovely pints and a great bar service.

Phoenix Court

03/08/2024: One of the best takeaways we’ve had outside of Dublin. Definitely the best in Carrick. We got BBQ ribs, shredded chicken, egg fried rice and skewered chicken satay. All amazingly fresh and delicious with great sauces. Would highly recommend
28/07/2024: Phoenix Court is the only good Asian restaurant in carrick on shannon. I wouldn't get a takeaway from any another. The food is fresh , delicious and authentic. I'm never dying of thirst after either so convinced they do not use MG ..
