I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Went here for my birthday and everything was so good. The food was delicious the portions were fantastic. The restaurant was warm. The staff were so kind and friendly. I had such a lovely night. We had a baby with us and they had a high chair. We also had 2 vegans and we got lots of options.

Four of us went there and all of us really enjoyed the food which was very well served. Rolls recommended us chicken kondattam and butter kappa and those were exceptionally tasty. We strongly recommend Spice India, Athlone and we would like to visit again...

Ordered a takeaway but unfortunately the bread order was messed up, instead of two different specialty naans and two plain naans we got one naan duplicated and two plain rices. Disappointed, but the main dishes were ok though not spicy

We have now had 4 takeaways from here and every time we have been left short something. Luckily tonight we checked before we left the restaurant as we got mains but no rice's. The food is lovely but it's becoming a bit of a joke when they can't get the orders right.

29/12/2024: The food here is good, just normal North Indian food and South Indian curries but the service and atmosphere is great. Very friendly staff and great ambiance makes the dinner worthwhile and the food is good just not anything extra ordinary. Highly recommend for when youโ€™re in Athlone.
14/11/2024: Had a take out as the restaurant was close to closing. Pri es reasonable. Food was excellent. Had the chicken biriyani and chicken chilli masala with chapati. Best curry sauce to accompany the biriyani I've had in a long time - usually watery but this was thick and delicious. Biriyani cooked well. Chili chicken was spicy and went well with the chapati. All in all a good Indian meal. Recommended!
