Spice India in Athlone

Today I had dinner at Spice India. A truly authentic Indian restaurant, as far as the taste is concerned. For an appetizer, I had the Onion Bhaji, fried onions, tasty but nothing special. For the main course, I had the classic Butter Chicken with Butter Naan. The sauce was very flavorful, the chicken tender and juicy. The Butter Naan was also delicious.

Very nice servers, quiet chill atmosphere, and great vegan/vegetarian options! Stopped in while staying in Athlone with everywhere else closed and was happy with our food:)

Excellent food, as always! Loved the masala dosa and pazhampori. Will be back for more 🙂

Good experience overall. The food was pretty good. Butter chicken and GOC naan was nice, even the daal tadka was good. Would recommend anyone who wants to have a good indian meal.
